Sunan Ibn Majah 1620
Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that she heard the Apostle of Allah (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) say, ‘There is no Prophet who fell sick but he was given the choice between this world and the Hereafter.’ She said, ‘When he became sick with the illness that would be his last, (his voice) became hoarse and I heard him say, ‘In the company of those on whom Allah ( ع َ َّز َّوَجَل) has bestowed His grace, of the Prophets, the true believers, the martyrs, and the righteous.’ (Sura An-Nisa - 69). ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے سنا: جو نبی بھی بیمار ہوا اسے دنیا یا آخرت میں رہنے کا اختیار دیا گیا جب آپ ﷺ اس مرض میں مبتلا ہوئے جس میں آپ کا انتقال ہوا، تو آپ کو ہچکی آنے لگی، میں نے سنا آپ ﷺ کہہ رہے تھے: «مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين» ان لوگوں کے ساتھ جن پر اللہ نے احسان کیا، انبیاء، صدیقین شہداء، اور صالحین میں سے تو اس وقت میں نے جان لیا کہ آپ کو اختیار دیا گیا ہے۔
Umme-ul-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kahti hain ke main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko farmate suna: Jo nabi bhi bimar huwa usay dunya ya aakhirat mein rehne ka ikhtiyar diya gaya Jab aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is marz mein mubtala hue jis mein aap ka intikal hua to aap ko hichki aane lagi main ne suna aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) keh rahe the: «Ma'a alladhina ana'am Allahu alaihim min al-nabiyyina wa al-siddiqin wa al-shuhada' wa al-salihin» in logoon ke sath jin par Allah ne ihsan kiya anbiya siddiqin shuhada aur salihin mein se to us waqt main ne jaan liya ke aap ko ikhtiyar diya gaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: مَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ يَمْرَضُ إِلَّا خُيِّرَ بَيْنَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، قَالَتْ: فَلَمَّا كَانَ مَرَضُهُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ أَخَذَتْهُ بُحَّةٌ فَسَمِعْتُهُ، يَقُولُ: مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ سورة النساء آية 69 فَعَلِمْتُ أَنَّهُ خُيِّرَ
