Sunan Ibn Majah 1739
It was narrated from Rabi’ah bin Ghaz that he asked ‘Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) about the fasting of the Apostle of Allah (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم). She said: “He used to make sure he fasted on Mondays and Thursdays.”

ربیعہ بن الغاز سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے روزوں کے سلسلے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: آپ ﷺ دوشنبہ اور جمعرات کے روزے کا اہتمام کرتے تھے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ الْغَازِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟، فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ يَتَحَرَّى صِيَامَ الِاثْنَيْنِ، وَالْخَمِيسِ .
