Sunan Ibn Majah 1876
Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated, ‘the Apostle of Allah ( صلى هللا عليه و آلهوسلم) married me when I was six years old. Then we came to Al-Madinah and settled among Banu Harith bin Khazraj. I became ill and my hair fell out, then it grew back and became abundant. My mother Umm Ruman (رضي الله تعالى عنها) came to me while I was on an Urjuhah with some of my friends and called for me. I went to her, and I did not know what she wanted. She took me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house, and I was panting. When I got my breath back, she took some water and wiped my face and head and led me into the house. There were, some woman of the Ansar inside the house, and they said, ‘with blessings and good fortune (from Allah (جَلَّ ذُو).’ (My mother) handed me over to them and they tidied me up. And suddenly I saw the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in the morning. And she handed me over to him and I was at that time, nine years old.’

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے مجھ سے شادی کی تو اس وقت میری عمر چھ سال کی تھی، پھر ہم مدینہ آئے تو بنو حارث بن خزرج کے محلہ میں اترے، مجھے بخار آ گیا اور میرے بال جھڑ گئے، پھر بال بڑھ کر مونڈھوں تک پہنچ گئے، تو میری ماں ام رومان میرے پاس آئیں، میں ایک جھولے میں تھی، میرے ساتھ میری کئی سہیلیاں تھیں، ماں نے مجھے آواز دی، میں ان کے پاس گئی، مجھے معلوم نہیں تھا کہ وہ کیا چاہتی ہیں؟ آخر انہوں نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑ کر گھر کے دروازہ پر لا کھڑا کیا، اس وقت میرا سانس پھول رہا تھا، یہاں تک کہ میں کچھ پرسکون ہو گئی، پھر میری ماں نے تھوڑا سا پانی لے کر اس سے میرا منہ دھویا اور سر پونچھا، پھر مجھے گھر میں لے گئیں، وہاں ایک کمرہ میں انصار کی کچھ عورتیں تھیں، انہوں نے دعا دیتے ہوئے کہا: تم خیر و برکت اور بہتر نصیب کے ساتھ جیو ، میری ماں نے مجھے ان عورتوں کے سپرد کر دیا، انہوں نے مجھے آراستہ کیا، میں کسی بات سے خوف زدہ نہیں ہوئی مگر اس وقت جب رسول اللہ ﷺ چاشت کے وقت اچانک تشریف لائے، اور ان عورتوں نے مجھے آپ کے حوالہ کر دیا، اس وقت میری عمر نو سال تھی۔
Am al-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehti hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujh se shadi ki to is waqt meri umar chhe saal ki thi, phir hum Madina aaye to Banu Harith bin Khazraj ke mahalla mein utre, mujhe bukhar a gaya aur mere baal jhad gaye, phir baal badh kar mondhon tak pahunch gaye, to meri maa Um Ruman mere pass aayin, main ek jhule mein thi, mere sath meri kai sahelian thin, maa ne mujhe awaz di, main un ke pass gayi, mujhe maalum nahin tha ke woh kya chahti hain? Aakhir unhon ne mera hath pakad kar ghar ke darwaze par la khaa da kiya, is waqt mera sans phool raha tha, yehan tak ke main kuchh purskoon ho gayi, phir meri maa ne thoda sa pani le kar is se mera munh dhoya aur sar ponchha, phir mujhe ghar mein le gayin, wahan ek kamra mein Ansar ki kuchh aurtein thin, unhon ne dua dete hue kaha: Tum khair o barkat aur behtar naseeb ke sath jeeo, meri maa ne mujhe in aurton ke supurd kar di, unhon ne mujhe arasta kiya, main kisi baat se khouf zadah nahin hui magar is waqt jab Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) chast ke waqt achanak tashreef laye, aur in aurton ne mujhe aap ke hawala kar di, is waqt meri umar nau saal thi.
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ، فَقَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَنَزَلْنَا فِي بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ، فَوُعِكْتُ فَتَمَرَّقَ شَعَرِي حَتَّى وَفَى لَهُ جُمَيْمَةٌ، فَأَتَتْنِي أُمِّي أُمُّ رُومَانَ وَإِنِّي لَفِي أُرْجُوحَةٍ وَمَعِي صَوَاحِبَاتٌ لِي، فَصَرَخَتْ بِي، فَأَتَيْتُهَا وَمَا أَدْرِي مَا تُرِيدُ، فَأَخَذَتْ بِيَدِي، فَأَوْقَفَتْنِي عَلَى بَابِ الدَّارِ، وَإِنِّي لَأَنْهَجُ حَتَّى سَكَنَ بَعْضُ نَفَسِي، ثُمَّ أَخَذَتْ شَيْئًا مِنْ مَاءٍ فَمَسَحَتْ بِهِ عَلَى وَجْهِي وَرَأْسِي، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَتْنِي الدَّارَ، فَإِذَا نِسْوَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فِي بَيْتٍ، فَقُلْنَ: عَلَى الْخَيْرِ، وَالْبَرَكَةِ، وَعَلَى خَيْرِ طَائِرٍ، فَأَسْلَمَتْنِي إِلَيْهِنَّ فَأَصْلَحْنَ مِنْ شَأْنِي، فَلَمْ يَرُعْنِي إِلَّا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ضُحًى فَأَسْلَمَتْنِي إِلَيْهِ، وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ .
