Sunan Ibn Majah 230
It was narrated from Zaid bin Thabit (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى ہللاعليه و آله وسلم) said: "May Allah ( ََّّ وَ جَلعَز) cause his face to shine, the man who hears what I say and conveys it (to others). There are those who have knowledge but no understanding, and there may be those who convey knowledge to those who have more understanding of it than they do.' " (One of the narrators) 'Ali bin Muhammed' added to it : "There are three things because of which hatred does not enter the heart of a Muslim : Sincerity in doing an action for the sake of Allah (جَلَّ ذُو); being sincere towards the rulers of the Muslims; and adhering to the Jama'ah (main body of the Muslims)."

زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اللہ اس شخص کو تروتازہ رکھے جس نے میری کوئی حدیث سنی اور اسے دوسروں تک پہنچایا، اس لیے کہ بعض علم رکھنے والے خود فقیہ نہیں ہوتے ہیں، اور بعض علم کو اپنے سے زیادہ فقیہ تک پہنچاتے ہیں ۔ علی بن محمد نے اپنی روایت میں اتنا مزید کہا: تین چیزیں ہیں کہ ان میں کسی مسلمان کا دل خیانت نہیں کرتا، ہر نیک کام محض اللہ کی رضا کے لیے کرنا، مسلمانوں کے اماموں اور سرداروں کی خیر خواہی چاہنا، مسلمانوں کی جماعت کے ساتھ ہمیشہ رہنا، ان سے جدا نہ ہونا ۔
Zayd bin Thabit (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Allah us shakhs ko tarotaza rakhe jisne meri koi hadees suni aur usse dusron tak pahunchaya, is liye ke baaz ilm rakhne wale khud faqih nahin hote hain, aur baaz ilm ko apne se zyada faqih tak pahunchate hain. Ali bin Muhammad ne apni riwayat mein itna mazid kaha: Teen cheezein hain ke in mein kisi musalman ka dil khiyanat nahin karta, har nek kam mahz Allah ki raza ke liye karna, musalmanon ke imamon aur sardaron ki khair khawahi chahna, musalmanon ki jamaat ke sath hamesha rehna, in se juda na hona
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْيَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ أَبِي هُبَيْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَبَلَّغَهَا، فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ غَيْرِ فَقِيهٍ، وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ ، زَادَ فِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ: ثَلَاثٌ لَا يُغِلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ، إِخْلَاصُ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ، وَالنُّصْحُ لِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَلُزُومُ جَمَاعَتِهِمْ .
