Sunan Ibn Majah 2816
Harith bin Hassan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I came to Al-Madinah and saw the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) standing on the pulpit, and Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) standing in front of him, with his sword by his side, and (I saw) a black flag. I asked, ‘who is this?’ He said, ‘this is Amr bin As (رضي الله تعالى عنه), who has just come back from a campaign.’

حارث بن حسان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں مدینہ آیا تو نبی اکرم ﷺ کو منبر پر کھڑے دیکھا، اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ آپ کے سامنے گلے میں تلوار ٹکائے ہوئے تھے، پھر اچانک ایک کالا بڑا جھنڈا دکھائی دیا، میں نے کہا: یہ کون ہیں؟ لوگوں نے بتایا کہ یہ عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہ ہیں جو ایک غزوہ سے واپس آئے ہیں۔
Haris bin Hassan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main Madina aaya to Nabi-e-Akram sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam ko minbar par khade dekha, aur Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aap ke samne gale mein talwar takaye huye the, phir achanak ek kala bada jhanda dikhayi diya, maine kaha: yeh kon hain? Logon ne bataya ke yeh Amr bin al-Aas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) hain jo ek ghazwa se wapas aaye hain.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، قَالَ: قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمًا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَبِلَالٌ قَائِمٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مُتَقَلِّدٌ سَيْفًا وَإِذَا رَايَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ هَذَا؟، قَالُوا: هَذَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَدِمَ مِنْ غَزَاةٍ .
