Sunan Ibn Majah 3222
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘we went out with the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) for Hajj or Umrah, and we encountered a swarm of locusts or a type of locust. We started hitting them without whips and sandals. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘eat them for they are the game of the sea’.’ Hashim (one of the narrators) said that Ziyad (one of the narrators) said, ‘so, it was narrated to me by one who saw a fish sneezing them out.’

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ حج یا عمرہ کے لیے نکلے، تو ہمارے سامنے ٹڈیوں کا ایک گروہ آیا، یا ایک قسم کی ٹڈیاں آئیں، تو ہم انہیں اپنے کوڑوں اور جوتوں سے مارنے لگے، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: انہیں کھاؤ یہ دریا کا شکار ہیں ۔
AbuHurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke hum log Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Hajj ya Umrah ke liye nikle, to hamare samne tiddiyon ka ek goroh aaya, ya ek qism ki tiddiyaan aayin, to hum unhen apne kodon aur juton se marne lage, Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Inhen khaow yeh darya ka shikar hain.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ ابْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَزِّمِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةٍ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ فَاسْتَقْبَلَنَا رِجْلٌ مِنْ جَرَادٍ، أَوْ ضَرْبٌ مِنْ جَرَادٍ، فَجَعَلْنَا نَضْرِبُهُنَّ بِأَسْوَاطِنَا وَنِعَالِنَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كُلُوهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ صَيْدِ الْبَحْرِ .
