Chapter: The prohibition of gathering or talking at the toilet

باب النَّهْىِ عَنْ الاِجْتِمَاعِ، عَلَى الْخَلاَءِ وَالْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَهُ
Sunan Ibn Majah 342
It was narrated from Abu Sa`eed al-Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said : 'No two people should converse while relieving themselves, each of them looking at the private parts of the other, for Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates that.' There are other chains for this Hadith with similar wordings.

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: قضائے حاجت کے وقت دو آدمی آپس میں کانا پھوسی نہ کریں کہ آپس میں ہر ایک دوسرے کی شرمگاہ دیکھ رہا ہو، اس لیے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے سخت ناراض ہوتا ہے ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Qaza-e-Hajjat ke waqt do aadmi aapas mein kana phosi nah krain ke aapas mein har ek doosre ki sharmgah dekh raha ho, is liye ke Allah Ta'ala is se sakht naraz hota hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: لَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ عَلَى غَائِطِهِمَا، يَنْظُرُ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا إِلَى عَوْرَةِ صَاحِبِهِ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَمْقُتُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ .
