It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, men and women used to do Wudu from a single vessel during the time of the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ مرد و عورت رسول اللہ ﷺ کے زمانے میں ایک ہی برتن سے وضو کیا کرتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: كَانَ الرِّجَالُ، وَالنِّسَاءُ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ .
