Sunan Ibn Majah 555
It was narrated that Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'they said : 'O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! What about the purification of the leather socks?' He said : 'For the traveler it is three days and nights, and for the resident it is one day and one night.'

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ لوگوں نے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! موزوں پر طہارت کی مدت کتنی ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: مسافر کے لیے تین دن اور تین رات، اور مقیم کے لیے ایک دن اور ایک رات ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke logon ne poocha: Allah ke Rasool! mozoon par taharat ki muddat kitni hai? Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: musafir ke liye teen din aur teen raat, aur muqim ke liye ek din aur ek raat.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي خَثْعَمٍ الثُّمَالِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا الطُّهُورُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ؟ قَالَ: لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ .
