Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2138

Habib bin Zaid's grandmother, Sayyida Umm Ammarah bint Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) visited her while she was fasting. She offered him food, so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Come and eat with me." She said: "I am fasting." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a fasting person is offered food, the angels pray for his forgiveness."

جناب حبیب بن زید کی دادی سیدہ ام عمارہ بنت کعب رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اُن کے پاس تشریف لائے جبکہ وہ روزے سے تھیں۔ اُنہوں نے آپ کو کھانا پیش کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم بھی آجاؤ اور کھانا کھالو۔“ اُنہوں نے عرض کی کہ میں نے روزہ رکھا ہوا ہے۔ تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب روزے دار کے پاس کھانا کھایا جائے تو فرشتے اُس کے لئے دعائے مغفرت کرتے ہیں۔“

Janab Habib bin Zaid ki dadi Sayyida Umme Amara bint Kaab raziallahu anha bayan karti hain ke Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam unke paas tashreef laaye jabke wo rozey se thin. Unhon ne aap ko khana pesh kiya to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: “Tum bhi aa jao aur khana kha lo.” Unhon ne arz ki ke maine roza rakha hua hai. To Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: “Jab rozedar ke paas khana khaya jaye to farishtey uske liye duaye maghfirat karte hain.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مَوْلاةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا: لَيْلَى ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ يَعْنِي جَدَّةَ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَهِيَ صَائِمَةٌ، فَقَرَّبَتْ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا، فَقَالَ:" تَعَالَى فَكُلِي". فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الصَّائِمُ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلائِكَةُ"

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2139

It has been narrated on the authority of 'Ali b. Husham, on the authority of Sayyida Umm 'Ammar bint Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with her) with a chain like the one preceding it, and in it, this addition has been mentioned: "Until they finish eating, or they finish the food." Imam Shafi'i has a doubt as to which words were spoken.


Grade: Da'if

جناب علی بن خشرم کی سند سے سیدہ ام عمار ہ بنت کعب رضی اللہ عنہا سے مذکورہ بالا کی مثل مروی ہے اور اس میں یہ اضافہ بیان کیا ہے۔ ”حتّیٰ کہ وہ کھانے سے فارغ ہوجائیں، یا وہ کھانا ختم کرلیں۔“ امام شعبہ کو شک ہے کون سے الفاظ کہے تھے۔

Janab Ali bin Khushram ki sanad se Sayyida Umm e Umarah bint Kaab Raziallahu Anha se mazkura bala ki misl marvi hai aur is mein ye izafa bayan kya hai. “Hatta ke woh khanay se farigh hojaen, ya woh khana khatam karlein.” Imam Sha’bi ko shak hai kause alfaz kahe thay.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ ، أَوْ حَبِيبٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، شَكَّ عَلِيٌّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مَوْلاةً لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهَا: لَيْلَى ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ بِمِثْلِهِ سَوَاءً. وَزَادَ" حَتَّى يَفْرُغُوا، أَوْ يَقْضُوا أَكْلَهُ". شُعْبَةُ L3795 شَكَّ. قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: قَالَ وَكِيعٌ: حَبِيبٌ

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2140

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidah Umm 'Amara bint Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When a person who is not fasting eats in the presence of one who is fasting, the angels send blessings upon the fasting person until the evening."


Grade: Da'if

سیدہ ام عمارہ بنت کعب رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب روزہ نہ رکھنے والے روزے دار کے پاس کھاتے ہیں تو فرشتے اُس کے لئے شام تک دعائیں کرتے ہیں۔“

Sayyidah Umme Ammarah binat Kaab Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai keh Nabi Akram Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ”Jab rozah na rakhne wale rozaydaar ke paas khate hain to farishte uske liye sham tak duain karte hain.“

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ لَيْلَى ، عَنْ مَوْلاتِهَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الصَّائِمُ إِذَا أَكَلَ عِنْدَهُ الْمَفَاطِيرُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ"
