Imam Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to perform Hajj, then he said: "I will make it an Umrah. If I am prevented (from reaching Makkah), then I will do as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did (during the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah)." When he reached the place of Dhu'l-Hulayfah, he said: "I think that the rulings of Hajj and Umrah are the same. Therefore, I call you to witness that I have combined Hajj with my Umrah (i.e., made the intention for Hajj)." When he reached Qudayd (a place near Makkah), he bought a sacrificial camel and walked with it until he reached Makkah. He then performed Tawaf (circumambulation) of the Ka'bah and prayed two rak'ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim. He then performed Sa'i (running between Safa and Marwah). Then he said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) doing the same."
امام نافع رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے حج کا ارادہ کیا، پھر کہنے لگے کہ میں اسے عمرہ بنا لیتا ہوں، اگر مجھے راستے میں روک دیا گیا تو میں اس طرح کروںگا جس طرح رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے (صلح حدیبیہ کے موقع پر کیا تھا۔ پھر جب بیداء مقام پر پہنچے تو فرمایا کہ میرے خیال میں حج اور عمرے کا ایک ہی حُکم ہے۔ لہذا میں تمہیں گواہ بناتا ہوں کہ میں نے اپنےعمرے کے ساتھ حج بھی واجب کرلیا ہے (حج قران کی نیت کرلی ہے) پھر جب قدید مقام پر پہنچے تو قربانی کا اونٹ خریدا اور اسے اپنے ساتھ لیکر چل دیئے حتّیٰ کہ مکّہ مکرّمہ پہنچ گئے۔ پس بیت اللہ شریف کا طواف کیا اور مقام ابراہیم کے پیچھے دو رکعت ادا کیں۔ اور صفا مروہ کی سعی کی، پھر فرمایا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اسی طرح کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔
Imam Nafe rahimahu Allah farmate hain ke Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allahu anhuma ne Hajj ka irada kiya, phir kehne lage ke main ise Umrah bana leta hun, agar mujhe raste mein rok diya gaya to main is tarah karunga jis tarah Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne (Sulh Hudaibiya ke mauke par kiya tha. Phir jab Baida makam par pahunche to farmaya ke mere khayal mein Hajj aur Umrah ka ek hi hukm hai. Lihaza main tumhein gawah banata hun ke maine apne Umrah ke sath Hajj bhi wajib kar liya hai (Hajj quran ki niyat kar li hai) phir jab Qadeed makam par pahunche to qurbani ka unt khareeda aur ise apne sath lekar chal diye hatta ke Makkah Mukarramah pahunch gaye. Pas Baitullah Sharif ka tawaf kiya aur Maqam Ibrahim ke peeche do rakat ada ki. Aur Safa Marwah ki saee ki, phir farmaya ke maine Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko isi tarah karte huye dekha hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ: أَرَادَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَجَّ، فَقَالَ: اجْعَلْهَا عُمْرَةً، فَإِنْ أَنَا صُدِدْتُ صَنَعْتُ كَمَا صَنَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمَّا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ، قَالَ: مَا أَرَى سَبِيلَهُمَا إِلا وَاحِدًا، وَأُشْهِدُكُمْ إِنِّي قَدْ أَوْجَبْتُ مَعَ عُمْرَتِي حَجَّةً، فَلَمَّا أَتَى قُدَيْدًا اشْتَرَى هَدْيًا وَسَاقَهُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى قَدِمَ مَكَّةَ، فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ، وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ يَعْنِي طَافَ ، وَقَالَ: هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْعَلُ"
