Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1339
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) liked to sleep before the 'Isha' prayer and did not like to talk after the 'Isha' prayer. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) said that in the narration of Janab Shaqiq bin Abdullah, these are the words: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) considered it very bad for us to talk after the 'Isha' prayer.

سیدنا ابوبرزہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عشاء سے پہلے سونا پسند کرتے تھے اور عشاء کے بعد گفتگو کرنا پسند نہیں فرماتے تھے۔ امام ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ جناب شقیق بن عبداللہ کی روایت میں یہ الفاظ ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمارے لئے عشاء کے بعد بات چیت کرنا سخت معیوب قرار دیا۔
Sayyidina Abu Burza RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW isha se pehle sona pasand karte thay aur isha ke baad guftagu karna pasand nahin farmate thay. Imam Abu Bakr RA farmate hain keh janab Shaqiq bin Abdullah ki riwayat mein yeh alfaz hain keh Rasulullah SAW ne hamare liye isha ke baad baat cheet karna sakht ma'yub qarar diya.
نَا هِلالُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَلا يُحِبُّ الْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا" قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي خَبَرِ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: " جَدَبَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السَّمَرَ بَعْدَ الْعَتَمَةِ"
