كِتَابُ الصَّلَاةِ
Chapter on the Prohibition of Staying Up Late After the Night Prayer in a General Sense, With a Specific Intent
بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنِ السَّهَرِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ بِلَفْظٍ عَامٍّ مُرَادُهُ خَاصٌّ
Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1340
Imam Sahab, with his chain of narration, reports from Janab Abdus Samad, who said: "The meaning of 'Jadaba' is to criticize, to consider defective."

امام صا حب اپنی سند کے ساتھ جناب عبدالصمد سے روایت کرتے ہیں، وہ فرماتے ہیں ”جَدَبَ“ کا معنی مذمّت کرنا، معیوب قرار دینا ہے۔
Imaam Sahib apni sanad ke sath janab Abdus Samad se riwayat karte hain, woh farmate hain "jadba" ka mani mazammat karna, maeyoob qarar dena hai.
نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، كِلاهُمَا عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مَعْمَرٍ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ:" يَعْنِي بِالْجَدْبِ الذَّمَّ"
