Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1350
Narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led his Companions in the prayer of fear. He bowed with them all, then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the row closest to him prostrated, while the second row remained standing. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (and those in the first row) rose, those in the second row performed two prostrations on their own. Then, the first row stepped back and stood with them, and they passed through their midst and stood in the first row. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bowed with all of them (a second time). Then, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and those in the row closest to him prostrated. When they raised their heads from prostration, those in the back row also prostrated. Thus, everyone bowed with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and performed two prostrations on their own, while the enemy was arrayed in rows facing them.

سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے صحابہ کرام کو نماز خوف پڑھائی تو اُن سب کے ساتھ رکوع کیا، پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے قریب والی صف نے سجدہ کیا جبکہ دوسری صف کھڑی رہی۔ حتیٰ کہ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم (اور پہلی صف والے) اُٹھ گئے تو دوسری صف والوں نے خود ہی دوسجدے کرلئے پھر پہلی صف والے پیچھے ہٹ کر اُن کے ساتھ کھڑے ہو گئے اور وہ اُن کے درمیان سے نکل کر پہلی صف میں آکر کھڑے ہو گئے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اُن سب کے ساتھ (دوسرا) رکوع کیا۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے قریبی صف والوں نے سجدے کیے۔ پھر جب اُن لوگوں نے سجدے سے اپنے سر اُٹھا لیے تو پچھلی صف والوں نے بھی سجدے کیے۔ اس طرح سب لوگوں نے رکوع نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ کیے اور دو سجدے خود بخود کرلیے۔ اور دشمن قبلہ کی جانب صف آراء تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir bin Abdullah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne Sahaba Kiram ko Namaz Khauf parhayi to un sab ke sath ruku kiya, phir Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aur aap ke qareeb wali saf ne sajda kiya jabke dusri saf khadi rahi. Hatta ke jab aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (aur pehli saf wale) uth gaye to dusri saf walon ne khud hi do sajday kar liye phir pehli saf wale peechhe hat kar un ke sath khade ho gaye aur wo un ke darmiyan se nikal kar pehli saf mein aakar khade ho gaye. Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne un sab ke sath (dusra) ruku kiya. Phir Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aur aap ke qareebi saf walon ne sajday kiye. Phir jab un logon ne sajde se apne sar utha liye to pichhli saf walon ne bhi sajday kiye. Is tarah sab logon ne ruku Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke sath kiye aur do sajday khud ba khud kar liye. Aur dushman qibla ki janib saff ara tha.
نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَهَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلاةَ الْخَوْفِ فَرَكَعَ بِهِمْ جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُ وَالآخَرُونَ قِيَامٌ حَتَّى إِذَا نَهَضَ سَجَدَ أُولَئِكَ بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ تَأَخَّرَ الصَّفُّ الْمُقَدَّمُ حَتَّى قَامُوا مَعَ أُولَئِكَ، وَتَخَلَّلَ أُولَئِكَ حَتَّى قَامُوا مَقَامَ الصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ، رَكَعَ بِهِمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالصَّفُّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُ، فَلَمَّا رَفَعُوا رُءُوسَهُمْ سَجَدَ أُولَئِكَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، كُلُّهُمْ قَدْ رَكَعَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَسَجَدُوا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، وَكَانَ الْعَدُوُّ مِمَّا يَلِي الْقِبْلَةَ"
