Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1381
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "During the blessed time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), there was a solar eclipse on a very hot day. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led his Companions in the eclipse prayer (Salat al-Kusuf). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood for so long that the Companions started to fall down. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bowed and made it lengthy as well. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and did the same as he had done in the first Rak'ah. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started reciting and stepping back. In this way, he offered four Rak'ahs with four bowings. Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I have been shown everything that you have been promised. Paradise was presented before me, even to the point that I intended to grab a bunch of grapes. And if I had wished, I would have grabbed it. Then I intended to take a bunch from it, but my hand could not reach it. Then Hellfire was shown to me, so I started stepping back for fear that it might engulf you. And I saw a tall, dark-skinned woman of Abyssinia who was being punished because of a cat. She had tied it up, neither feeding it nor setting it free to eat the vermin of the earth (so it died of hunger and thirst). And I saw Abu Thamamah Umar bin Malik dragging his intestines in Hellfire, while people used to say that the sun and the moon are only eclipsed due to the death of a great leader. And indeed, these are two of the signs of Allah, which Allah shows you. So when an eclipse occurs, pray until the sun brightens up. Bandar (the narrator) did not mention the word 'al-Qamar' (the moon) to us. Ata' narrated on his own authority from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered two bowings in each Rak'ah.
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے، وہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ مبارک میں شدید گرمی والے دن سورج گرہن لگا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے صحابہ کرام کو نماز کسوف پڑھائی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اتنا طویل قیام کیا کہ صحابہ کرام گرنے لگ گئے پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے رکوع کیا تو اسے بھی طویل کیا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے تو اسی (پہلی رکعت) کی طرح کیا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آگے پڑھنا اور پیچھے ہٹنا شروع کر دیا۔ اس طرح چار رکوع اور چار سجدے ادا کیے، پھر فرمایا: ”مجھے ہر وہ چیز دکھائی گئی ہے جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا گیا ہے۔ مجھ پر جنّت پیش کی گئی حتّیٰ کہ میں نے انگوروں کا ایک خوشہ پکڑنا چاہا۔ اور اگر میں چاہتا تو میں اسے پکڑ لیتا۔ پھر میں نے اس میں ایک خوشہ لینا چاہا تو میرا ہاتھ اُس تک نہ پہنچ سکا۔ پھر مجھے جہنّم دکھائی گئی تو میں نے اس ڈر سے پیچھے ہٹنا شروع کر دیا کہ کہیں وہ تمہیں اپنی لپیٹ میں نہ لیلے۔ اور میں نے ایک سیاہ فام طویل حمیری عورت بھی دیکھی جسے ایک بلّی کی وجہ سے عذاب دیا جارہا تھا۔ اُس نے بلّی کو باندھے رکھا نہ اُسے کچھ کھانے کو دیا اور نہ اُسے آزاد کیا، کہ وہ زمینی کیڑے مکوڑے کھا لیتی (اس طرح وہ بھوکی پیاسی مرگئی) اور میں نے ابوثمامہ عمر وبن مالک کو جہنّم میں اپنی انتڑیاں کھینچتے ہوئے دیکھا اور لوگ یہ کہا کرتے تھے کہ بیشک سورج اور چاند کو گرہن کسی بڑے سردار کی موت کی وجہ سے ہی لگتاہے۔ اور بلاشبہ یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی نشانیوں میں سے دو نشانیاں ہیں، جو اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں دکھاتا ہے، لہٰذا جب گرہن لگے تو سورج کے روشن ہونے تک نماز پڑھو۔ جناب بندار نے ”ا لقمر“ کا لفظ ہمیں بیان نہیں کیا۔ جناب عطاء اپنی سند سے سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہر رکعت میں دو رکوع کیے تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai, woh farmate hain ke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke zamana mubarak mein shadeed garmi wale din sooraj grahan laga, toh Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne sahaba kiram ko namaz kusuf parhayi. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne itna tawil qayam kiya ke sahaba kiram girne lag gaye phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne ruku kiya toh use bhi tawil kiya. Phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam kharay huye toh usi (pehlee rakat) ki tarah kiya. Phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne aage padhna aur peechhe hatna shuru kar diya. Iss tarah chaar ruku aur chaar sajday ada kiye, phir farmaya: "Mujhe har woh cheez dikhayi gayi hai jiska tum se waada kiya gaya hai. Mujh par Jannat pesh ki gayi hatta ke maine angooron ka ek khosha pakadna chaha. Aur agar main chahta toh main use pakad leta. Phir maine uss mein ek khosha lena chaha toh mera hath uss tak na pahunch saka. Phir mujhe Jahannam dikhayi gayi toh maine uss dar se peechhe hatna shuru kar diya ke kahin woh tumhein apni lapet mein na le le. Aur maine ek siyah fam tawil humari aurat bhi dekhi jise ek billi ki wajah se azab diya ja raha tha. Uss ne billi ko bandhe rakha na usse kuch khane ko diya aur na usse aazaad kiya, ke woh zameeni keeday makoray kha leti (iss tarah woh bhooki pyaasi mar gayi) aur maine Abu Thamama Umar-o-Bin Malik ko Jahannam mein apni antariyan khenchte huye dekha aur log yeh kaha karte thay ke beshak sooraj aur chand ko grahan kisi bare sardar ki maut ki wajah se hi lagta hai. Aur bilashuba yeh Allah Ta'ala ki nishaniyon mein se do nishaniyan hain, jo Allah Ta'ala tumhein dikhaata hai, lihaza jab grahan lage toh sooraj ke roshan hone tak namaz parho. Janab Bandar ne "Al-Qamar" ka lafz humain bayaan nahin kiya. Janab Ata apni sanad se Sayyida Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha se bayaan karte hain ke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne har rakat mein do ruku kiye thay.
حَدَّثَنَا بندار حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ: كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا شَدِيدَ الْحَرِّ، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِأَصْحَابِهِ، فَأَطَالَ الْقِيَامَ حَتَّى جَعَلُوا يَخِرُّونَ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَنَعَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ جَعَلَ يَتَقَدَّمُ ثُمَّ يَتَأَخَّرُ، فَكَانَتْ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ:" إِنَّهُ عُرِضَ عَلَيَّ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ تُوعَدُونَهُ، فَعُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ الْجَنَّةُ حَتَّى تَنَاوَلْتُ مِنْهَا قِطْفًا، وَلَوْ شِئْتُ لأَخَذْتُهُ، ثُمَّ تَنَاوَلْتُ مِنْهَا قِطْفًا فَقَصَرَتْ يَدَيَّ عَنْهُ، ثُمَّ عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ النَّارُ فَجَعَلْتُ أَتَأَخَّرُ خِيفَةَ تَغْشَاكُمْ، وَرَأَيْتُ فِيهَا امْرَأَةً حِمْيَرِيَّةً سَوْدَاءَ طَوِيلَةً تُعَذَّبُ فِي هِرَّةٍ لَهَا رَبَطَتْهَا، فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِ، وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا ثُمَامَةَ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَجُرُّ قُصْبَهُ فِي النَّارِ، وَإِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لا يَنْخَسِفَانِ إِلا لِمَوْتِ عَظِيمٍ، وَإِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يُرِيكُمُوهَا اللَّهُ فَإِذَا خَسَفَتْ فَصَلُّوا حَتَّى تَنْجَلِيَ" . لَمْ يَقُلْ لَنَا بُنْدَارٌ:" الْقَمَرَ" وَفِي خَبَرِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَكَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَعُرْوَةَ، وَعَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ:" أَنَّهُ رَكَعَ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ رُكُوعَيْنِ"
