كِتَابُ الصَّلَاةِ
Chapter on the narration indicating that refraining from eating on the day of Eid al-Adha until one sacrifices is a virtue.
بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الدَّالِّ عَلَى أَنَّ تَرْكَ الْأَكْلِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ حَتَّى يَذْبَحَ الْمَرْءُ فَضِيلَةٌ،

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1427
Our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gave us a sermon after the prayer on the day of Eid al-Adha, so Abu Burda bin Niyar, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “O Messenger of Allah, I slaughtered my goat before the prayer and ate from it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Your goat was just meat," (It is not considered a sacrifice) and he narrated the rest of the hadith. Imam Abu Bakr, may Allah have mercy on him, said: I have mentioned this hadith in the book al-Idhahi.

سیدنا براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں عید الاضحٰی والے دن نماز کے بعد خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا، تو سیدنا ابو بردہ بن نیار رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کی کہ (اے اللہ کے رسول) میں نے اپنی بکری نماز کے آنے سے پہلے ہی ذبح کرلی تھی اور کھانا بھی کھا لیا تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تمہاری بکری تو گوشت کی بکری ہے۔ (قربانی نہیں ہوئی)“ اور بقیہ حدیث بیان کی۔ امام ابوبکر رحمه الله فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے اس حدیث کو کتاب الاضاحی میں بیان کیا ہے۔
Sayyidna Bara bin Azib Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne humein Eid-ul-Adha wale din namaz ke baad khutba irshad farmaya, tou Sayyidna Abu Burdah bin Niyar Radi Allahu Anhu ne arz ki keh (Aye Allah ke Rasul) maine apni bakri namaz ke aane se pehle hi zibah karli thi aur khana bhi kha liya tha. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tumhari bakri tou gosht ki bakri hai. (Qurbani nahi hui)" aur baqiya hadees bayan ki. Imam Abu Bakr Rahmatullah Alaih farmate hain keh maine is hadees ko Kitab-ul-Izahi mein bayan kiya hai.
نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الأَضْحَى بَعْدَ الصَّلاةِ، فَقَالَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ نِيَارٍ: ذَبَحْتُ شَاتِي وَتَغَدَّيْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ آتِيَ الصَّلاةَ، فَقَالَ:" شَاتُكَ شَاةُ لَحْمٍ" ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: خَرَّجْتُهُ فِي كِتَابِ الأَضَاحِي
