Chapter on the recommendation to eat dates on the day of Eid al-Fitr before going to the prayer area.

Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 1428
Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would break his fast on the day of Eid al-Fitr with dates before he would pray.

سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عید الفطر والے دن چند کھجوروں کا ناشتہ کرتے پھر (عیدگاہ کی طرف) تشریف لے جاتے۔
Sayyidna Anas Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Eid-ul-Fitr wale din chand khajuron ka nashta karte phir (Eidgah ki taraf) tashreef le jate.
نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُفْطِرُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى تَمَرَاتٍ، ثُمَّ يَغْدُو"
