Muwatta Imam Malik 396
Yahya related to me from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "A group of angels in the night and a group of angels in the day alternate with each other among you, and gather together at the time of the asr and fajr prayers. Then those that have spent the night among you ascend, and He asks them, and He knows best, 'How did you leave my slaves?' and they say, 'When we left them they were praying, and when we came to them they were praying.' "

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تمھارے اندر رات کے فرشتے اور دن کے فرشتے باری باری آتے جاتے رہتے ہیں اور نماز عصر اور نماز فجر میں جمع ہوتے ہیں ۔ پھر جنھوں نے تمھارے ساتھ رات گزاری ہوتی ہے وہ ( جبکہ آسمان کی طرف ) چڑھ جاتے ہیں ، تو وہ ( اللہ تعالیٰ ) ان سے دریافت فرماتا ہے حالانکہ وہ ان ( بندوں کے احوال ) سے بخوبی واقف ہوتا ہے ، ( پوچھتا ہے کہ ) تم نے میرے بندوں کو کس حال میں چھوڑا ؟ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نے ان کو چھوڑا ( اور ان کے پاس سے آئے ) تو اس حال میں کہ وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور ہم ان کے پاس آئے تھے تو بھی اس حال میں کہ وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے ۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Tumhare andar raat ke farishte aur din ke farishte baari baari aate jaate rehte hain aur namaz Asr aur Namaz Fajr mein jama hote hain. Phir jin hon ne tumhare saath raat guzari hoti hai woh (jab keh aasman ki taraf) chhurh jaate hain to woh (Allah Ta'ala) unse دریافت فرماتا ہے halanki woh un (bandon ke ahwal) se bakhubi waqif hota hai, (puchta hai keh) tum ne mere bandon ko kis haal mein chhora? Woh kehte hain ki hum ne unko chhora (aur unke pass se aae) to is haal mein ki woh namaz parh rahe the aur hum unke pass aae the to bhi is haal mein ki woh namaz parh rahe the.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ : يَتَعَاقَبُونَ فِيكُمْ مَلَائِكَةٌ بِاللَّيْلِ وَمَلَائِكَةٌ بِالنَّهَارِ . وَيَجْتَمِعُونَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ ، وَصَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ ، ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ الَّذِينَ بَاتُوا فِيكُمْ ، فَيَسْأَلُهُمْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِمْ : « كَيْفَ تَرَكْتُمْ عِبَادِي ؟» فَيَقُولُونَ : تَرَكْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ ، وَأَتَيْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ
