Abu Razln al-‘Uqaili told that he went to the Prophet and said, “Messenger of God, my father is a very old man who is unable to perform thehajjand the‘umra, or to ride." He replied, “Perform them both on behalf of your father." Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is ahasan sahihtradition.

ابورزین عقیلی ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تو عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! میرے والد بہت بوڑھے ہیں ، وہ حج و عمرے کی استطاعت رکھتے ہیں نہ سواری کر سکتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اپنے والد کی طرف سے حج و عمرہ کر ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، ابوداؤد ، نسائی ۔ اور امام ترمذی نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے ۔ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد و النسائی ۔
Aburazin Aqili RA se riwayat hai ki woh Nabi SAW ki khidmat mein hazir hue to arz kiya: Allah ke Rasul! Mere wald bahut budhe hain, woh Hajj o Umrah ki istaat rakhte hain na sawari kar sakte hain, aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Apne wald ki taraf se Hajj o Umrah kar.'' Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, Nisa'i. Aur Imam Tirmidhi ne farmaya: Yeh hadees hasan sahih hai. Asnaad-e-sahih, riwayat-ut-Tirmidhi wa Abu Dawood wa an-Nisa'i.
وَعَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ قَالَ: «حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
