Ibn ‘Abbas told that God's messenger heard a man say, “Labbaikon behalf of Shubruma." He asked who Shubruma was, and the man replied, “A brother of mine," or “a relative of mine." He asked whether he had performed the pilgrimage on his own behalf, and when he replied that he had not, he said, “Perform the pilgrimage on your own behalf, then perform it on behalf of Shubruma." Shafi'i, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

ابن عباس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کسی آدمی کو شُبرمہ کی طرف سے تلبیہ (لبیک) کہتے ہوئے سنا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ شبرمہ کون ہے ؟‘‘ اس نے کہا : میرا بھائی ہے یا میرا کوئی قریبی ہے ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کیا تم نے خود حج کیا ہوا ہے ؟‘‘ اس نے عرض کیا : نہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ پہلے اپنی طرف سے حج کرو ، پھر شبرمہ کی طرف سے حج کرنا ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ الشافعی و ابوداؤد و ابن ماجہ ۔
Ibn Abbas bayan karte hain ke Rasul Allah ne kisi aadmi ko Shubruma ki taraf se talbiyah (Labbaik) kehte huye suna to aap ne farmaya: ''Shubruma kaun hai?'' Usne kaha: Mera bhai hai ya mera koi qareebi hai. Aap ne farmaya: ''Kya tum ne khud Hajj kiya hua hai?'' Usne arz kiya: Nahi. Aap ne farmaya: ''Pehle apni taraf se Hajj karo, phir Shubruma ki taraf se Hajj karna.'' Hasan, Riwayat al-Shafa'i wa Abu Dawud wa Ibn Majah.
مَرْفُوع وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ قَالَ: «مَنْ شُبْرُمَةُ» قَالَ: أَخٌ لِي أَوْ قَرِيبٌ لِي قَالَ: «أَحَجَجْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ؟» قَالَ: لَا قَالَ: «حُجَّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ثُمَّ حُجَّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ» . رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وابنُ مَاجَه
