Description of bankruptcy and granting respite
بيان الإفلاس وإعطاء المهلة
Mishkat al-Masabih 2902
Abu Qatada reported God's Messenger as saying, “If anyone would like God to save him from the anxieties of the day of resurrection, he should grant a respite to one who is in straitened circumstances, or remit his debt.” Muslim transmitted it.
Grade: Sahih
ابوقتادہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جس شخص کو یہ پسند ہو کہ اللہ اسے روزِ قیامت کی تکلیفوں سے نجات دے دے تو وہ تنگدست کو مہلت دے یا اسے (قرض) معاف کر دے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abuqataadah riwayat karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Jis shakhs ko yeh pasand ho ke Allah use roz-e-qiyamat ki takleefon se nijaat de de to woh tangdast ko mohlat de ya use (qarz) maaf kar de.'' Riwayat Muslim.
وَعَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُنْجِيَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلْيُنَفِّسْ عَنْ مُعْسِرٍ أَوْ يَضَعْ عَنْهُ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
