Mishkat al-Masabih 2907
He reported God's Messenger as saying, “Delay in payment by a rich man is injustice, but when one of you is referred for payment to a wealthy* man he should accept the reference." (Bukhari and Muslim.) *Mali'. This word is used of a wealthy man, and also of one who cannot be called wealthy but who is careful to pay his debts.

ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ مال دار شخص کا (قرض کی ادائیگی میں) ٹال مٹول کرنا ظلم ہے ، اگر تم میں سے کسی کو کسی مال دار شخص (یعنی ضامن) کے پیچھے لگا دیا جائے (کہ اس سے قرض وصول کر لو) تو لگ جانا چاہیے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Hurairah RA se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Mal dar shakhs ka (karz ki adaegi mein) taal matol karna zulm hai, agar tum mein se kisi ko kisi mal dar shakhs (yani zamin) ke peeche laga diya jaye (keh is se qarz wasool kar lo) to lag jana chahiye.'' Mutaffiq alaih.
وَعَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ ظُلْمٌ فَإِذَا أُتْبِعَ أحدكُم على مَلِيء فَليتبعْ»
