Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not feel helpless. If something befalls you, do not say, ‘If only I had done such and such,’ rather say, ‘Allah has decreed and what He wills He does.’ For (the word) ‘if’ opens the way for the work of Satan.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2664

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ قوی مومن ، ضعیف مومن سے بہتر ہے نیز وہ اللہ کو زیادہ پسند ہے ، اور سب (مومنوں) میں خیر ہے ، تو اپنے لیے نفع بخش چیز کے لیے محنت و کوشش کر اور اللہ سے مدد طلب کر اور عاجزی و سستی نہ کر ، اور اگر تجھے کوئی نقصان پہنچے تو ایسے نہ کہو : اگر میں (اس طرح ، اس طرح) کرتا تو اس طرح ، اس طرح ہوتا ، بلکہ ایسے کہو : اللہ نے مقدر کیا اور جو اس نے چاہا سو کیا ، کیونکہ (لفظ) ’’اگر‘‘ عمل شیطان کھولتا ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Qawi momin, zaeef momin se behtar hai neez woh Allah ko zyada pasand hai, aur sab (momino) mein khair hai, to apne liye nafa bakhsh cheez ke liye mehnat o koshish kar aur Allah se madad talab kar aur aajzi o susti na kar, aur agar tujhe koi nuksan pahunche to aise na kaho: agar main (is tarah, is tarah) karta to is tarah, is tarah hota, balke aise kaho: Allah ne muqaddar kiya aur jo usne chaha so kiya, kyunki (lafz) ''agar'' amal shaitan kholta hai.'' Riwayat Muslim.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ خَيْرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ وَفِي كُلٍّ خَيْرٌ احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ واستعن بِاللَّه ولاتعجز وَإِنْ أَصَابَكَ شَيْءٌ فَلَا تَقُلْ لَوْ أَنِّي فَعَلْتُ كَانَ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَلَكِنْ قُلْ قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ فَإِنَّ لَوْ تَفْتَحُ عمل الشَّيْطَان»\رَوَاهُ مُسلم\
