Zainab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that one day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me in a state of alarm, saying, "There is no god but Allah! Woe to the Arabs from the evil that has drawn near! Today, a gap as wide as this has been opened in the dam of Gog and Magog." And he made a circle with his thumb and index finger. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, will we be destroyed even though there are righteous people among us?" He said, "Yes, when evil increases." - Agreed upon.

زینب بنت جحش ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک روز رسول اللہ ﷺ گھبراہٹ کے عالم میں میرے پاس تشریف لائے ، آپ ﷺ فرما رہے تھے :’’ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، عربوں کے لیے اس شر کے سبب تباہی ہے جو کہ قریب پہنچ چکی ہے ؟ آج یاجوج ماجوج کا بند اس قدر کھول دیا گیا ۔‘‘ اور آپ ﷺ نے اپنی دو انگلیوں ، انگوٹھے اور انگشت شہادت سے حلقہ بنایا ، زینب ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، میں نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! کیا ہم ہلاک کر دیے جائیں گے جبکہ صالح لوگ ہم میں موجود ہیں ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ہاں ، جب فسق و فجور زیادہ ہو جائے گا ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Zainab bint Jahash RA se riwayat hai keh aik roz Rasool Allah SAW ghabrahat ke alam mein mere pass tashreef laye, Aap SAW farma rahe thay: ''Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahi, Arbon ke liye is shar ke sabab tabahi hai jo keh qareeb pahonch chuki hai? Aaj Yajooj Majooj ka band is qadar khol diya gaya.'' Aur Aap SAW ne apni do ungliyon, angoothe aur ungusht shahadat se halqa banaya, Zainab RA bayan karti hain, main ne arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool! Kiya hum halak kar diye jayenge jab keh salih log hum mein mojood hain? Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Haan, jab fasq o fujoor zyada ho jaye ga.'' Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَن زينبَ بنتِ جحشٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دخل يَوْمًا فَزِعًا يَقُولُ: «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَيلٌ للعربِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مِثْلُ هَذِهِ» وَحَلَّقَ بِأُصْبَعَيْهِ: الْإِبْهَامَ وَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا. قَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَنُهْلَكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ إِذا كثُرَ الخَبَثُ» . مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
