Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If tears fall from the eyes of a believing servant out of fear of Allah, even if they are the size of a fly's head, and they run down his cheek, then Allah will forbid the Fire to touch him." (This narration is weak (da'eef), narrated by Ibn Majah).

عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جس مومن بندے کی آنکھوں سے اللہ کے ڈر کے پیش نظر آنسو نکل آئیں ، خواہ وہ مکھی کے سر کے برابر ہوں ، پھر وہ اس کے چہرے پر آ جائیں تو اللہ اس شخص کو جہنم کی آگ پر حرام قرار دے دیتا ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابن ماجہ ۔
Abdullah bin Masood bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: Jis momin bande ki aankhon se Allah ke dar ke pesh-e-nazar aansu nikal aayen, chahe wo makkhi ke sar ke barabar hon, phir wo uske chehre par aa jayen to Allah us shakhs ko jahannum ki aag par haram qarar de deta hai. وَعَنْ عَبْدِ\اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُؤْمِنٍ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ عَيْنَيْهِ دُمُوعٌ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِثْلَ رَأْسِ الذُّبَابِ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُصِيبُ شَيْئًا مِنْ حَرِّ وَجْهِهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ» . رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَه\
