Abu Musa narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There will be afflictions like pieces of a dark night (continuously) before the Day of Judgment. A person will be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever in the evening, and a believer in the evening and a disbeliever in the morning. The one sitting will be better than the one standing, and the one walking will be better than the one running. Break your bows in these (tribulations) and cut your bowstrings, and strike your swords against stones. And if it (the tribulation) enters upon any of you, then let him be like the better of the two sons of Adam (Abel)." And in Abu Dawud's narration from them: "He is better than the one running." Then they said: "What do you command us?" He (ﷺ) said: "Stay in your homes." And in Tirmidhi's narration, it is reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said regarding the time of tribulation: "Break your bows in them, cut your bowstrings in them, and cling to the four walls of your homes during those tribulations, and be like the son of Adam (Abel)." Imam Tirmidhi said: This hadith is Hasan Gharib. Sanad is Hasan, narrated by Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi.

ابوموسی ؓ نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ قیامت سے پہلے شب تاریک کے ٹکڑوں کی طرح (لگاتار) فتنے ہوں گے ، ان میں آدمی صبح کے وقت مومن ہو گا تو شام کے وقت کافر اور شام کے وقت مومن ہو گا تو صبح کے وقت کافر ، ان میں بیٹھنے والا کھڑے ہونے والے سے بہتر ہو گا ، اور ان میں چلنے والا دوڑنے والے سے بہتر ہو گا ، تم ان میں اپنی کمانیں توڑ ڈالو اور (اپنی کمانوں کے) تانت کاٹ ڈالو اور اپنی تلواروں کو پتھر پر دے مارو ، اور اگر وہ (فتنہ) تم میں سے کسی پر داخل ہو گیا تو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ آدم ؑ کے دو بیٹوں میں سے بہتر بیٹے (ہابیل) کی طرح ہو جائے ۔‘‘\nاور ابوداؤد کی انہی سے مروی حدیث میں :’’ بہتر ہے دوڑنے والے سے ‘‘ تک مروی ہے ، پھر انہوں نے عرض کیا ، آپ ہمیں کیا حکم فرماتے ہیں ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم اپنے گھروں میں جم جانا ۔‘‘\nاور ترمذی کی روایت میں ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فتنے کے دور کے متعلق فرمایا :’’ ان میں اپنی کمانوں کو توڑ دینا ، ان میں اپنے تانت کاٹ ڈالنا اور ان فتنوں کے وقت اپنے گھر کی چار دیواری کو لازم پکڑنا ، اور ابن آدم (ہابیل) کی طرح ہو جانا ۔‘‘ امام ترمذی نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث صحیح غریب ہے ۔ سنادہ حسن ، رواہ ابوداؤد و الترمذی ۔\n
Abu Musa RA Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain ke aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Qayamat se pehle shab tareek ke tukdon ki tarah (lagatar) fitne honge, in mein aadmi subah ke waqt momin hoga to sham ke waqt kafir aur sham ke waqt momin hoga to subah ke waqt kafir, in mein bethne wala khare hone wale se behtar hoga, aur in mein chalne wala daudne wale se behtar hoga, tum in mein apni kamanen tod dalo aur (apni kamano ke) tant kaat dalo aur apni talwaron ko pathar par de maro, aur agar wo (fitna) tum mein se kisi par dakhil ho gaya to use chahiye ke wo Adam AS ke do beton mein se behtar bete (Habeel) ki tarah ho jaye.'' Aur Abu Dawood ki inhi se marvi hadees mein: ''Behtar hai daudne wale se'' tak marvi hai, phir unhon ne arz kiya, aap hamen kya hukum farmate hain? Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Tum apne gharon mein jam jana.'' Aur Tirmidhi ki riwayat mein hai ke Rasul Allah SAW ne fitne ke daur ke mutalliq farmaya: ''In mein apni kamano ko tod dena, in mein apne tant kaat dalna aur in fitnon ke waqt apne ghar ki chaar diwari ko lazim pakadna, aur Ibn Adam (Habeel) ki tarah ho jana.'' Imam Tirmidhi ne farmaya: Ye hadees sahih gharib hai. Sanad hasan, riwayat Abu Dawood wa Tirmidhi.
وَعَنْ\أَبِي مُوسَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ فِتَنًا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي كَافِرًا وَيُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا الْقَاعِد خير من الْقَائِم والماشي خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِي فَكَسِّرُوا فِيهَا قِسِيَّكُمْ وَقَطِّعُوا فِيهَا أَوْتَارَكُمْ وَاضْرِبُوا سُيُوفَكُمْ بِالْحِجَارَةِ فَإِنْ دُخِلَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَكُنْ كَخَيْرِ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد. وَفِي رِوَايَة لَهُ (ضَعِيف)\: «ذَكَرَ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ» خَيْرٌ مِنَ السَّاعِي ثُمَّ قَالُوا: فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟ قَالَ: كُونُوا أَحْلَاسَ بُيُوتِكُمْ . وَفِي رِوَايَةِ التِّرْمِذِيِّ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ: «كَسِّرُوا فِيهَا قِسِيَّكُمْ وَقَطِّعُوا فِيهَا أَوْتَارَكُمْ وَالْزَمُوا فِيهَا أَجْوَافَ بُيُوتِكُمْ وَكُونُوا كَابْنِ آدَمَ» . وَقَالَ: هَذَا حديثٌ صحيحٌ غريبٌ\
