Aisha (RA) narrates, "The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) never struck anything with his hand neither a servant nor a woman, except for striving in the cause of Allah. And if he was harmed by anyone, he would not retaliate against them for that harm. He would only retaliate when the limits ordained by Allah were transgressed, and even then, he would only retaliate seeking the pleasure of Allah." - Sahih Muslim.

عائشہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرنے کے علاوہ اپنے ہاتھ سے کسی چیز کو مارا نہ کسی خادم کو اور نہ ہی کسی عورت کو ، اور اگر آپ کو کسی کی طرف سے کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی تو آپ اس تکلیف پہنچانے والے سے انتقام نہیں لیتے تھے ، آپ صرف اس صورت میں انتقام لیتے تھے جب اللہ کی حدود پامال ہوتی ہوں اور وہ انتقام بھی محض اللہ کی رضا کی خاطر ہی لیتے تھے ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Ayesha bayan karti hain, Rasool Allah ne Allah ki rah mein jihad karne ke ilawa apne hath se kisi cheez ko mara na kisi khadim ko aur na hi kisi aurat ko, aur agar aap ko kisi ki taraf se koi takleef pahunchti to aap us takleef pahunchane wale se inteqam nahin lete the, aap sirf us surat mein inteqam lete the jab Allah ki hudood pamaal hoti hon aur wo inteqam bhi mahd Allah ki raza ki khatir hi lete the. وَعَنْهَا\قَالَتْ: مَا ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لنَفسِهِ شَيْئًا قَطُّ بِيَدِهِ وَلَا امْرَأَةً وَلَا خَادِمًا إِلَّا أَنْ يُجَاهِدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نِيلَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ قَطُّ فَيَنْتَقِمُ مِنْ صَاحِبِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يُنْتَهَكَ شَيْءٌ مِنْ مَحَارِمِ اللَّهِ فينتقم لله. رَوَاهُ مُسلم\
