بيان هجرة أصحاب الكرام رضوان الله عليهم من مكة المكرمة ووفاة النبي ﷺ
Mishkat al-Masabih 5957
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'id Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ascended the pulpit and said, "Allah gave one of His servants the choice between this world's blessings, whatever he wished for, or what was with Allah. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep and said, "May our parents be sacrificed for you!" We were surprised at his reaction. People said, "Look at this old man! The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is talking about a servant who was given a choice between the blessings of this world or what is with Allah, and he says, 'May our parents be sacrificed for you!'" The one who was given the choice was the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and Abu Bakr was the most knowledgeable of us about this. Agreed upon.

ابوسعید خدری ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ منبر پر تشریف فرما ہوئے اور فرمایا :’’ اللہ نے اپنے ایک بندے کو اختیار دیا کہ وہ دنیا کی نعمتوں میں سے جو چاہے اپنے لیے پسند کر لے یا پھر وہ اس چیز کو اختیار کر لے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے پاس ہے ۔‘‘ (یہ سن کر) ابوبکر ؓ رونے لگے ، اور عرض کیا : ہمارے والدین آپ پر فدا ہوں ! ہمیں ان کی اس حالت پر تعجب ہوا ، لوگوں نے کہا : اس بزرگ کو دیکھو ، رسول اللہ ﷺ ایک بندے کے متعلق بتا رہے ہیں کہ اللہ نے اسے اختیار دیا ہے کہ وہ دنیا کی نعمتیں پسند کر لے یا اس چیز کو پسند کر لے جو اس کے پاس ہے ، اور وہ کہہ رہا ہے ہمارے والدین آپ پر فدا ہوں ۔ چنانچہ جس بندے کو اختیار دیا گیا تھا وہ رسول اللہ ﷺ ہی تھے ، اور ابوبکر ؓ ہم سب سے زیادہ اس بات کو جاننے والے تھے ۔ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW minbar par tashreef farma hue aur farmaya: “Allah ne apne aik bande ko ikhtiyar diya keh woh duniya ki naimaton mein se jo chahe apne liye pasand karle ya phir woh iss cheez ko ikhtiyar karle jo Allah Ta’ala ke pass hai.” (Yeh sunkar) Abu Bakar RA rone lage, aur arz kiya: Humare waldain aap par fida hon! Humein un ki iss halat par taajjub hua, logon ne kaha: Iss buzurg ko dekho, Rasool Allah SAW aik bande ke mutalliq bata rahe hain keh Allah ne usay ikhtiyar diya hai keh woh duniya ki naimaten pasand karle ya iss cheez ko pasand karle jo uske pass hai, aur woh keh raha hai humare waldain aap par fida hon. Chunanche jis bande ko ikhtiyar diya gaya tha woh Rasool Allah SAW hi the, aur Abu Bakar RA hum sab se ziyada iss baat ko jaan’ne wale the. Muttafiq Alaih.
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَلَسَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ عَبْدًا خَيَّرَهُ اللَّهُ بَيْنَ أَنْ يُؤْتِيَهُ مِنْ زَهْرَةِ الدُّنْيَا مَا شَاءَ وَبَيْنَ مَا عِنْدَهُ فَاخْتَارَ مَا عِنْدَهُ» . فَبَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ: فَدَيْنَاكَ بِآبَائِنَا وَأُمَّهَاتنَا فعجبنا لَهُ فَقَالَ النَّاس: نظرُوا إِلَى هَذَا الشَّيْخِ يُخْبِرُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ عَبْدٍ خَيَّرَهُ اللَّهُ بَيْنَ أَنْ يُؤْتِيَهُ مِنْ زَهْرَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَبَيْنَ مَا عِنْدَهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: فَدَيْنَاكَ بِآبَائِنَا وَأُمَّهَاتِنَا فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هُوَ الْمُخَير وَكَانَ أَبُو بكر هُوَ أعلمنَا. مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
