بيان مناقب قريش وذكر القبائل
Mishkat al-Masabih 5997
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "From which tribe are you?" I said, "From the tribe of Daus." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I did not think that there was any good in a person from the tribe of Daus." (Hasan) Narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے فرمایا :’’ تم کس قبیلے سے ہو ؟‘‘ میں نے عرض کیا ، دوس سے ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں نہیں سمجھتا تھا کہ دوس قبیلے کے کسی شخص میں بھلائی ہو ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, Nabi ne mujhe farmaya: ''Tum kis qabeele se ho?'' Maine arz kiya, Dos se, Aap ne farmaya: ''Main nahin samjhta tha ke Dos qabeele ke kisi shakhs mein bhalayi ho.'' Isnaadahu Hasan, Riwayatut Tirmizi.
وَعَنْهُ\قَالَ: قَالَ لِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟ قُلْتُ: مِنْ دَوْسٍ. قَالَ: «مَا كُنْتُ أَرَى أَنَّ فِي دَوْسٍ أحدا فِيهِ خير» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ\
