Mishkat al-Masabih 6226
Rafa'a bin Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Gabriel (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "How do you regard the people of Badr among you?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "They are the best among the Muslims," or he said words to that effect. He (Gabriel) said, "And so are the angels who were present at Badr, they are among those of high rank." - Sahih al-Bukhari.

رفاعہ بن رافع ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، جبریل ؑ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تو انہوں نے فرمایا :’’ تم اہل بدر کو اپنے ہاں کس درجہ میں شمار کرتے ہو ؟‘‘ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ مسلمانوں میں سے سب سے افضل ۔‘‘ یا آپ نے اسی طرح کی بات فرمائی ۔‘‘ انہوں (جبریل ؑ) نے فرمایا :’’ اسی طرح جو فرشتے بدر میں شریک ہوئے ان کا بھی بلند درجہ ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ البخاری ۔
Rafa bin Rafi bayan karte hain, Jibrail Nabi ki khidmat mein hazir hue to unhon ne farmaya: ''Tum ahle Badr ko apne han kis darja mein shumar karte ho?'' Aap ne farmaya: ''Musalmanon mein se sab se afzal.'' Ya aap ne isi tarah ki baat farmaai.'' Unhon (Jibrail) ne farmaya: ''Isi tarah jo farishte Badr mein sharik hue un ka bhi buland darja hai.'' Riwayat Bukhari.
وَعَنْ\رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «مَا تَعُدُّونَ أَهْلَ بَدْرٍ فِيكُمْ» . قَالَ: «مِنْ أَفْضَلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ» أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا قَالَ: «وَكَذَلِكَ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ» . رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ\
