ا. Abdullah bin Rabah narrated from Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that many deputations came to Mu'awiya (رضي الله تعالى عنه). This was in the month of Ramadan. We would prepare food for one another. Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was one of those who frequently invited us to his house. I said, should I not prepare food and invite them to my place? So, I ordered meals to be prepared, then I met Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) in the evening and said, (you will have) your meals with me tonight. He said, you have forestalled me. I said, yes, and invited them. (When they had finished with the meals) Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘should I not tell yon a tradition from your traditions, O you the assembly of the Ansar? He then gave an account of the Conquest of Mecca and said (as follows). The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) advanced until he reached Makka. He deputed Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) on his right flank and Khalid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) on the left, and he dispatched Abu Ubaida (رضي الله تعالى عنه) with the force that had no armor. They advanced to the interior of the valley. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was in the midst of a large contingent of fighters. He saw me and said, Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالی عنہ). I said, I am here at your call, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). He said, ‘let no one come to me except the Ansar, so call to me the Ansar (only). Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) continued, so they gathered round him. The Quraish also gathered their ruffians and their (lowly) followers and said, we send these forwards. If they get anything, we shall be with them (to share it), and if misfortune befalls them, we shall pay (as compensation) whatever we are asked for. The Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said (to the Ansar), you see the ruffians and the (lowly) followers of the Quraish. And he indicated by (striking) one of his hands over the other that they should be killed and said, meet me at as-Safa. Then we went on (and) if any one of us wanted that a certain person should be killed, he was killed, and none could offer any resistance. Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) continued, then came Abu Sufyan and said, Apostleof Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), the blood of the Quraish has become cheap. There will be no Quraish from this day on. Then he (the Prophet ﷺ) said, ‘who enters the house of Abu Sufyan, he will be safe. Some of the Ansar whispered among themselves: (After all), love for his city and tenderness towards his relations have overpowered him. Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, (At this moment) revelation came to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and when he was going to receive the revelation, we understood it, and when he was (actually) receiving it, none of us would dare raise his eyes to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) until the revelation came to an end. When the revelation came to an end, the Apostle of Allah (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) said: O you assembly of the Ansar! They said, here we are at your disposal, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). He said, you were saying that love for his city and tenderness towards his people have overpowered this man. They said, so it was. He said, no, never. I am a servant of Allah and His Apostle. I migrated towards Allah and towards you. I will live with you and will die with you. So, they (the Ansar) turned towards him in tears and they were saying, by Allah, we said what we said because of our tenacious attachment to Allah and His Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). The Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, surely, Allah and His Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) testify to your assertions and accept your apology. Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) continued, the people turned to the house of Abu Sufyan and people locked their doors. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) proceeded until he approached the (Black) Stone. He kissed it and circumambulated the Ka'ba. He reached near an idol by the side of the Ka'ba which was worshipped by the people. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had a bow in his hand, and he was holding it from a corner. When he came near the idol, he began to pierce its eyes with the bow and (while doing so) was saying - َُ هَقَ الْبَاطِلجَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَ ز [Truth has been established and falsehood has perished] (Al-Isra – 81). When he had finished the circumambulation, he came to Safa', ascended it to a height from where he could see the Ka'ba, raised his hands (in prayer) and began to praise Allah and prayed what he wanted to pray.
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ماہ رمضان میں بہت سے وفد حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کے پاس آئے اور ہم ایک دوسرے کے لیے کھانا تیار کرتے تھے اور حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ اپنے ٹھکانے پر ساتھیوں کو بکثرت بلاتے تھے، عبداللہ بن رباح کہتے ہیں، میں نے دل میں کہا، میں کھانا کیوں نہ تیار کروں اور ساتھیوں کو اپنے ٹھکانہ پر بلاؤں، تم مجھ سے سبقت لے گئے ہو، میں نے کہا، جی ہاں، میں نے ساتھیوں کو بلایا، حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کہنے لگے، اے گروہ انصار، کیا میں تمہیں تمہارے کارناموں سے ایک کارنامہ نہ بتاؤں؟ پھر انہوں نے فتح مکہ کا ذکر چھیڑ دیا اور کہنے لگے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روانہ ہوئے حتی کہ مکہ مکرمہ پہنچ گئے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک جانب کے دستہ پر زبیر رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کو مقرر کیا اور دوسری جانب کے دستہ پر خالد رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کو مقرر کیا اور پیدل دستہ پر ابو عبیدہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کو مقرر کیا، انہوں نے وادی کے اندر پناہ لی، اور ایک دستہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تھے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے دیکھ کر فرمایا، ”اے ابوہریرہ!“ میں نے عرض کیا، حاضر ہوں، اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میرے پاس صرف انصاری آئیں،“ شیبان کے سوا نے یہ اضافہ کیا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میرے لیے انصار کو آواز دو۔“ تو انہوں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو گھیر لیا اور قریش نے بھی مختلف قبائل کے دستوں کو جمع کر لیا اور اپنے تابع لوگوں کو جمع کر لیا اور سوچا، ہم ان لوگوں کو آگے بڑھاتے ہیں، اگر ان کو کوئی کامیابی حاصل ہوئی، ہم ان کے ساتھ ہوں گے اور اگر ان کو نقصان پہنچا تو ہم ان لوگوں (مسلمانوں) کا مطالبہ مان لیں گے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم قریش کے مختلف قبائل کے دستوں اور ان کے پیروکاروں کو دیکھ رہے ہو۔“ پھر ایک ہاتھ کو دوسرے ہاتھ پر رکھ کر ارشاد فرمایا، (کہ ان کو مار ڈالو) پھر فرمایا: ”حتی کہ تم آ کر مجھے صفا پر ملو۔“ تو ہم چل پڑے اور ہم میں سے جو شخص کسی کو قتل کرنا چاہتا، اس کو قتل کر ڈالتا اور ان میں سے کوئی ہمارا مقابلہ نہیں کر پا رہا تھا، (اپنی مدافعت میں کوئی اسلحہ ہم پر نہیں چھوڑتا تھا) اتنے میں ابوسفیان آ گیا اور کہنے لگا، اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! قریش کی جمیعت ختم کی جا رہی ہے، آج کے بعد کوئی قریشی نہیں باقی رہے گا، پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جو ابوسفیان کے گھر میں داخل ہو جائے گا، اس کو امان ہے۔“ تو انصار ایک دوسرے کو کہنے لگے، ہاں اس آدمی (نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) پر اپنی بستی کی محبت اور اپنے خاندان پر شفقت غالب آ گئی ہے، حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر وحی کا نزول شروع ہو گیا اور جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر وحی آتی تو ہم پر یہ حالت پوشیدہ نہ رہتی تو جب وحی آتی تو کوئی بھی آپ کی طرف نظر اٹھا کر نہ دیکھتا تھا، حتی کہ وحی پوری ہو جاتی تو جب وحی کی آمدن بند ہو گئی، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے انصار کے گروہ“ انہوں نے کہا، ہم حاضر ہیں، اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم نے کہا ہے کہ اس آدمی پر اپنے شہر کی محبت غالب آ گئی ہے۔“ انہوں نے جواب دیا، ایسے ہوا ہے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ہرگز نہیں، میں اللہ کا بندہ اور اس کا رسول ہوں، میں نے اللہ کی طرف اور تمہاری طرف ہجرت کی ہے، میری زندگی، تمہارے پاس گزرے گی اور مجھے موت تمہارے ہاں آئے گی۔“ وہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف روتے ہوئے بڑھے اور کہہ رہے تھے، اللہ کی قسم! ہم نے جو کچھ کہا، وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی حرس و رغبت کی خاطر کہا، اس پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ اور اس کا رسول تمہیں سچا گردانتے ہیں اور تمہارا عذر قبول کرتے ہیں۔“ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ لوگ ابوسفیان کے گھر کی طرف بڑھے اور کچھ لوگوں نے اپنے دروازے بند کر لیے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آگے بڑھے حتی کہ حجر اسود کی طرف بڑھے، اسے بوسہ دیا، پھر طواف کیا، پھر ایک بت کے پاس آئے، جو بیت اللہ کے پہلو میں تھا، لوگ اس کی عبادت کرتے تھے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہاتھ میں ایک قوس تھی اور آپ نے قوس ایک طرف پکڑی ہوئی تھی تو جب آپ بت کے پاس پہنچے تو اس کی آنکھ میں اس کو چبھونے لگے اور فرما رہے تھے، ”حق آ گیا، باطل مٹ گیا۔“ جب آپ طواف سے فارغ ہوئےم صفا پر پہنچے اور اس کے اوپر چڑھ گئے حتی کہ بیت اللہ پر نظر ڈالی اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ بلند کیے، اللہ کی حمد بیان کرنے لگے اور جو چاہا وہ دعا مانگنے لگے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke mah e Ramadan mein bahut se wafd Hazrat Muawiyah (Razi Allahu Anhu) ke paas aaye aur hum ek doosre ke liye khana taiyar karte the aur Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) apne thikane par saathiyon ko bakasrat bulate the, Abdullah bin Rabah kehte hain, maine dil mein kaha, main khana kyun na taiyar karoon aur saathiyon ko apne thikana par bulaoon, tum mujh se sabqat le gaye ho, maine kaha, ji haan, maine saathiyon ko bulaya, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) kehne lage, Aye giroh e Ansar, kya main tumhe tumhare karnamon se ek karnama na bataoon? Phir unhon ne Fateh Makkah ka zikr chhed diya aur kehne lage, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) rawana hue hatta ke Makkah Mukarramah pahunch gaye to Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ek janib ke dasta par Zubair (Razi Allahu Anhu) ko muqarrar kiya aur doosri janib ke dasta par Khalid (Razi Allahu Anhu) ko muqarrar kiya aur paidal dasta par Abu Ubaidah (Razi Allahu Anhu) ko muqarrar kiya, unhon ne waadi ke andar panah li, aur ek dasta mein Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) the, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne mujhe dekh kar farmaya, "Aye Abu Hurairah!" Maine arz kiya, haazir hoon, Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Mere paas sirf Ansari aaein," Shaiban ke siwa ne yeh izafa kiya, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Mere liye Ansar ko awaaz do." To unhon ne Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko gher liya aur Quraish ne bhi mukhtalif qabail ke daston ko jama kar liya aur apne tabi logon ko jama kar liya aur socha, hum in logon ko aage badhate hain, agar inko koi kamyabi hasil hui, hum inke saath honge aur agar inko nuqsan pahuncha to hum in logon (Musalmanon) ka mutaliba maan lenge to Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Tum Quraish ke mukhtalif qabail ke daston aur unke pairaukaron ko dekh rahe ho." Phir ek hath ko doosre hath par rakh kar irshad farmaya, (ke inko maar dalo) phir farmaya: "Hatta ke tum aa kar mujhe Safa par milo." To hum chal pade aur hum mein se jo shakhs kisi ko qatal karna chahta, usko qatal kar dalta aur un mein se koi hamara muqabala nahi kar pa raha tha, (apni mudafat mein koi asleha hum par nahi chhodta tha) itne mein Abu Sufyan aa gaya aur kehne laga, Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Quraish ki jamiat khatam ki ja rahi hai, aaj ke baad koi Quraishi nahi baqi rahega, phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Jo Abu Sufyan ke ghar mein dakhil ho jayega, usko aman hai." To Ansar ek doosre ko kehne lage, haan is aadmi (Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)) par apni basti ki mohabbat aur apne khandan par shafqat ghalib aa gayi hai, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par wahi ka nuzool shuru ho gaya aur jab Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) par wahi aati to hum par yeh halat poshida na rehti to jab wahi aati to koi bhi Aap ki taraf nazar utha kar na dekhta tha, hatta ke wahi poori ho jaati to jab wahi ki aamadan band ho gayi, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Aye Ansar ke giroh" Unhon ne kaha, hum haazir hain, Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Tumne kaha hai ke is aadmi par apne shahar ki mohabbat ghalib aa gayi hai." Unhon ne jawab diya, aise hua hai, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Hargiz nahi, main Allah ka banda aur uska Rasool hoon, maine Allah ki taraf aur tumhari taraf hijrat ki hai, meri zindagi, tumhare paas guzre gi aur mujhe maut tumhare haan aayegi." Woh Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki taraf rote hue badhe aur keh rahe the, Allah ki qasam! Humne jo kuch kaha, woh Allah aur uske Rasool ki hirse o raghbat ki khatir kaha, is par Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Allah aur uska Rasool tumhe saccha gardante hain aur tumhara uzr qabool karte hain." Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke log Abu Sufyan ke ghar ki taraf badhe aur kuch logon ne apne darwaze band kar liye aur Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) aage badhe hatta ke Hajar e Aswad ki taraf badhe, use bosa diya, phir tawaf kiya, phir ek butt ke paas aaye, jo Baitullah ke pehlu mein tha, log uski ibadat karte the aur Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hath mein ek qaus thi aur Aap ne qaus ek taraf pakdi hui thi to jab Aap butt ke paas pahunche to uski aankh mein usko chubhone lage aur farma rahe the, "Haq aa gaya, batil mit gaya." Jab Aap tawaf se farigh hue Safa par pahunche aur uske oopar chadh gaye hatta ke Baitullah par nazar dali aur apne donon hath buland kiye, Allah ki hamd bayan karne lage aur jo chaha woh dua mangne lage.
حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ وَفَدَتْ وُفُودٌ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ وَذَلِكَ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَكَانَ يَصْنَعُ بَعْضُنَا لِبَعْضٍ الطَّعَامَ فَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ مِمَّا يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَنَا إِلَى رَحْلِهِ فَقُلْتُ أَلاَ أَصْنَعُ طَعَامًا فَأَدْعُوَهُمْ إِلَى رَحْلِي فَأَمَرْتُ بِطَعَامٍ يُصْنَعُ ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ مِنَ الْعَشِيِّ فَقُلْتُ الدَّعْوَةُ عِنْدِي اللَّيْلَةَ فَقَالَ سَبَقْتَنِي . قُلْتُ نَعَمْ . فَدَعَوْتُهُمْ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ أَلاَ أُعْلِمُكُمْ بِحَدِيثٍ مِنْ حَدِيثِكُمْ يَا مَعْشَرَ الأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ فَتْحَ مَكَّةَ فَقَالَ أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى قَدِمَ مَكَّةَ فَبَعَثَ الزُّبَيْرَ عَلَى إِحْدَى الْمُجَنِّبَتَيْنِ وَبَعَثَ خَالِدًا عَلَى الْمُجَنِّبَةِ الأُخْرَى وَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ عَلَى الْحُسَّرِ فَأَخَذُوا بَطْنَ الْوَادِي وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي كَتِيبَةٍ - قَالَ - فَنَظَرَ فَرَآنِي فَقَالَ " أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ " . قُلْتُ لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . فَقَالَ " لاَ يَأْتِينِي إِلاَّ أَنْصَارِيٌّ " . زَادَ غَيْرُ شَيْبَانَ فَقَالَ " اهْتِفْ لِي بِالأَنْصَارِ " . قَالَ فَأَطَافُوا بِهِ وَوَبَّشَتْ قُرَيْشٌ أَوْبَاشًا لَهَا وَأَتْبَاعًا . فَقَالُوا نُقَدِّمُ هَؤُلاَءِ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُمْ شَىْءٌ كُنَّا مَعَهُمْ . وَإِنْ أُصِيبُوا أَعْطَيْنَا الَّذِي سُئِلْنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " تَرَوْنَ إِلَى أَوْبَاشِ قُرَيْشٍ وَأَتْبَاعِهِمْ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ بِيَدَيْهِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الأُخْرَى ثُمَّ قَالَ " حَتَّى تُوَافُونِي بِالصَّفَا " . قَالَ فَانْطَلَقْنَا فَمَا شَاءَ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا أَنْ يَقْتُلَ أَحَدًا إِلاَّ قَتَلَهُ وَمَا أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ يُوَجِّهُ إِلَيْنَا شَيْئًا - قَالَ - فَجَاءَ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أُبِيحَتْ خَضْرَاءُ قُرَيْشٍ لاَ قُرَيْشَ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ . ثُمَّ قَالَ " مَنْ دَخَلَ دَارَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ فَهُوَ آمِنٌ " . فَقَالَتِ الأَنْصَارُ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَمَّا الرَّجُلُ فَأَدْرَكَتْهُ رَغْبَةٌ فِي قَرْيَتِهِ وَرَأْفَةٌ بِعَشِيرَتِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَجَاءَ الْوَحْىُ وَكَانَ إِذَا جَاءَ الْوَحْىُ لاَ يَخْفَى عَلَيْنَا فَإِذَا جَاءَ فَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يَرْفَعُ طَرْفَهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى يَنْقَضِيَ الْوَحْىُ فَلَمَّا انْقَضَى الْوَحْىُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَا مَعْشَرَ الأَنْصَارِ " . قَالُوا لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " قُلْتُمْ أَمَّا الرَّجُلُ فَأَدْرَكَتْهُ رَغْبَةٌ فِي قَرْيَتِهِ " . قَالُوا قَدْ كَانَ ذَاكَ . قَالَ " كَلاَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ هَاجَرْتُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَإِلَيْكُمْ وَالْمَحْيَا مَحْيَاكُمْ وَالْمَمَاتُ مَمَاتُكُمْ " . فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَبْكُونَ وَيَقُولُونَ وَاللَّهِ مَا قُلْنَا الَّذِي قُلْنَا إِلاَّ الضِّنَّ بِاللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يُصَدِّقَانِكُمْ وَيَعْذِرَانِكُمْ " . قَالَ فَأَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ إِلَى دَارِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَأَغْلَقَ النَّاسُ أَبْوَابَهُمْ - قَالَ - وَأَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى أَقْبَلَ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ فَاسْتَلَمَهُ ثُمَّ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ - قَالَ - فَأَتَى عَلَى صَنَمٍ إِلَى جَنْبِ الْبَيْتِ كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَهُ - قَالَ - وَفِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَوْسٌ وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِسِيَةِ الْقَوْسِ فَلَمَّا أَتَى عَلَى الصَّنَمِ جَعَلَ يَطْعُنُهُ فِي عَيْنِهِ وَيَقُولُ " جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ " . فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ طَوَافِهِ أَتَى الصَّفَا فَعَلاَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى نَظَرَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ يَحْمَدُ اللَّهَ وَيَدْعُو بِمَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ .
