Chapter: The words of the prophet saws: "A Group of my Ummah will continue to Prevail on the basis of the Truth, and They will not be Harmed by those who oppose them."

باب قَوْلِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لاَ تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ»

Sahih Muslim 1037c
It has been narrated on the authority of Umair bin Umm Hani (رضئ للا تعالی عنہ) who said, I heard Mu'awiya say (while delivering a sermon from the pulpit) that he heard the Apostle of Allah (صلى للا عليه و آله وسلم) say, a group of people from my Umma will continue to obey Allah's Command, and those who desert or oppose them shall not be able to do them any harm. They will be dominating the people until Allah's Command is executed ( Resurrection is established).
عمیر بن ہانی بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے منبر پر یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا، ”میری امت کا ایک گروہ ہمیشہ اللہ کے دین کو تھامے رکھے گا، جو ان کو بے یارومددگار چھوڑے گا، یا ان کی مخالفت کرے گا، وہ ان کو نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکے گا، حتیٰ کہ اللہ کا حکم آن پہنچے گا اور وہ لوگوں پر غالب ہی ہوں گے۔“
Umair bin Hani bayan karte hain ke main ne Hazrat Mu'awiyah (Raziallahu Anhu) se mimbar par yeh kehte hue suna ke main ne Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko yeh farmate hue suna, "Meri Ummat ka ek giroh hamesha Allah ke Deen ko thame rakhega, jo un ko be-yar-o-madadgar chhodega, ya un ki mukhalafat karega, woh un ko nuqsan nahin pahuncha sakega, hatta ke Allah ka hukm aa pahunchega aur woh logon par ghalib hi honge."
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، بْنِ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ عُمَيْرَ بْنَ هَانِئٍ، حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " لاَ تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَائِمَةً بِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ أَوْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ ظَاهِرُونَ عَلَى النَّاسِ " .
