Chapter: The prohibition of striking one's checks, tearing one's garment and calling with the calls of Jahilliyyah

باب تَحْرِيمِ ضَرْبِ الْخُدُودِ وَشَقِّ الْجُيُوبِ وَالدُّعَاءِ بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ
Sahih Muslim 103b
This hadith has been narrated by A'mash with the same chain of narrators and the transmitters said:He tore and called.
امام صاحبؒ نے مذکورہ بالا روایت مختلف سندوں سے بیان کی کہا "وَشَقَّ وَ دَعَا" ”گریبان چاک کیا اور واویلا کیا۔“
Imam Sahib (Rahmatullahi Alaih) ne mazkoora bala riwayat mukhtalif sandon se bayan ki kaha "Wa-Shaqqa wa Da'a" "gareban chaak kiya aur wa-waila kiya."
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالاَ " وَشَقَّ وَدَعَا " .
