Sahih Muslim 1083
Zuhri reported that (once) the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) took an oath that he would not go to his wives for one Month. Zuhri said that 'Urwa narrated to him from Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) that she said, ‘when twenty-nine nights were over, which I had counted, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came to me (first). I said, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), you had taken an oath that you would not come to us for a month, whereas you have come after twenty-nine days which I have counted. Whereupon he said, the month may also consist of twenty-nine days.
امام زہری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قسم اٹھائی کہ میں ایک ماہ اپنی بیویوں کے پاس نہیں جاؤں گا۔ زہری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کہتے ہیں مجھے عروہ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت سنائی کہ جب انتیس دن گزر گئے میں انہیں گنتی رہتی تھی۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے ہاں تشریف لائے آغاز مجھ سے فرمایا: میں نے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! آپ نے ہمارے پاس ایک ماہ نہ آنے کی قسم اٹھائی تھی۔ اور آپ انتیس دن کے بعد تشریف لے آئے ہیں۔ میں گنتی رہی ہوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہ مہینہ انتیس کا ہے۔“
Imam Zuhri (Rehmatullahi Alaihi) bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne qasam uthayi ke main ek mah apni biwiyon ke paas nahi jaoon ga. Zuhri (Rehmatullahi Alaihi) kehte hain mujhe Urwa (Rehmatullahi Alaihi) ne Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anha) se riwayat sunayi ke jab untees din guzar gaye main unhein ginti rehti thi. Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) mere haan tashreef laye aghaz mujh se farmaya: main ne arz kiya: Ae Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Aap ne hamare paas ek mah na aane ki qasam uthayi thi. Aur Aap untees din ke baad tashreef le aaye hain. Main ginti rahi hoon, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Yeh mahina untees ka hai."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَقْسَمَ أَنْ لاَ يَدْخُلَ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ شَهْرًا - قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ - فَأَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ لَمَّا مَضَتْ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ لَيْلَةً أَعُدُّهُنَّ دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَتْ بَدَأَ بِي - فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ أَقْسَمْتَ أَنْ لاَ تَدْخُلَ عَلَيْنَا شَهْرًا وَإِنَّكَ دَخَلْتَ مِنْ تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَعُدُّهُنَّ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ الشَّهْرَ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ " .
