Chapter: Fasting on the day of Ashura'
١٩
باب صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ
Sahih Muslim 1127b
This Hadith has been narrated from Jarir on the authority of A'mash with the same chain of transmitters and he said (these words with a little bit of variation from the previous hadith), when (fasting) in Ramadan was (made) obligatory, he abandoned it (the practice of observing fast on Ashura).
امام صاحب یہی روایت دو اور اساتذہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں اس میں جب رمضان کا حکم نازل ہو گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے ترک کر دیا۔
Imam Sahab yahi riwayat do aur asatiza se bayan karte hain is mein jab Ramzan ka hukum nazil ho gaya to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne use tark kar diya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالاَ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ رَمَضَانُ تَرَكَهُ .
