Chapter: Fasting on the day of Ashura'

باب صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ ‏‏

Sahih Muslim 1130b

This Hadith has been narrated by Ibn Bishr with the same chain of transmitters (but with a slight variation) that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) inquired of them (Jews) about it (fasting on the day of 'Ashura).

امام صاحب نے اپنے دو اور اساتذہ سے یہی روایت ابو بشر کی سند ہی سے بیان کی ہے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے اس کے بارے میں پوچھا۔

Imam Sahab ne apney do aur asatiza se yahi riwayat Abu Bishr ki sanad hi se bayan ki hai aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne un se uske bare mein poocha.

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ ابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ فَسَأَلَهُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، ‏.‏
