Sahih Muslim 1154b
Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that one day the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to me, Aisha, have you anything (to eat)? I said, ‘no. Thereupon he said, I shall then be fasting. Then he came to us another day and we said, Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), hais has been offered to us as a gift. Thereupon he said, show that to me; I had been fasting since morning. He then ate it.
حضرت اُم المومنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرے پاس تشریف لائے ارو پوچھا: ”کیا تمھارے پاس کھانے کی کوئی چیز ہے؟“ تو ہم نے کہا: نہیں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا! ”تو اب ہم روزہ دار ہیں۔“ پھرایک دن تشریف لائے تو ہم نے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! ہمیں مالیدہ کا ہدیہ ملا ہے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجھے کھلائیے میں نے تو آج روزے کی نیت کی تھی۔“ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نوش فرمایا۔
Hazrat Ummul Mu'mineen A'isha (Raziallahu Anha) bayan karti hain ke ek din Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne mere pas tashreef laye aur poocha: "Kya tumhare pas khane ki koi cheez hai?" To hum ne kaha: Nahi aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya! "To ab hum rozedar hain." Phir ek din tashreef laye to hum ne arz kiya: Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam)! Humein malidah ka hadiya mila hai to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Mujhe khilaiye main ne to aaj roze ki niyat ki thi." Phir aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne nosh farmaya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ، عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَقَالَ " هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ شَىْءٌ " . فَقُلْنَا لاَ . قَالَ " فَإِنِّي إِذًا صَائِمٌ " . ثُمَّ أَتَانَا يَوْمًا آخَرَ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أُهْدِيَ لَنَا حَيْسٌ . فَقَالَ " أَرِينِيهِ فَلَقَدْ أَصْبَحْتُ صَائِمًا " . فَأَكَلَ .
