Chapter: The prohibition of hunting game for the one who has entered Ihram for Hajj or for Umrah or for both

باب تَحْرِيمِ الصَّيْدِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ
Sahih Muslim 1196c
This Hadith pertaining to the wild ass is reported on the authority of Abu Qatada ( رضي الله تعالى عنه). The rest of the Hadith is the same but with this (variation of words), that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘is there with you some of its meat?’
مصنف یہی روایت جنگلی گدھے کے بارے میں، زید بن اسلم سے ابو نضر کی مذکورہ بالا روایت کی طرح بیان کرتے ہیں، صرف اتنا فرق ہے کہ زید بن اسلم بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: ”کیا تمہارے پاس اس کا کچھ گوشت ہے۔“
Musannif yehi riwayat jungli gaddhe ke bare mein, Zaid bin Aslam se Abu Nadhar ki mazkoorah bala riwayat ki tarah bayan karte hain, sirf itna farq hai ke Zaid bin Aslam bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne poocha: "Kya tumhare paas uska kuch gosht hai."
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، - رضى الله عنه - فِي حِمَارِ الْوَحْشِ . مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي النَّضْرِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " هَلْ مَعَكُمْ مِنْ لَحْمِهِ شَىْءٌ " .
