Sahih Muslim 1196d
Abdullah bin Abu Qatada reported that his father went with the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in the year of Hudaibiya. His Companions entered upon the state of Ihram whereas he did not, for it was conveyed to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) that the enemy (was hiding at) Ghaiqa. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went forward. Abu Qatada ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, meanwhile I was along with his Companions, some of them smiled (at one another). As I cast a glance, I saw a wild ass. I attacked it with a spear and held it, and begged for their (his companions) assistance, but they refused to help me, and we ate its meat. But we were afraid lest we should be separated (from the Apostle of Allah ﷺ). So, I proceeded on (with a view to) seeking the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). Sometimes I dashed my horse and sometimes I made it run at a leisurely pace (keeping pace with others). (In the meanwhile) I met a person from Banfu Ghifar in the middle of the night. I said to him, ‘where did you meet the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)? He said, I left him at Ta'bin and he intended to halt at Suqya to spend the afternoon. I met him and said, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) your Companions convey salutations and benedictions of Allah to you and they fear that they may not be separated from you (and the enemy may do harm to you), so wait for them, and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) waited for them. I said, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I killed a game and there is left with me (some of the meat). The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to his people. eat it. And they were in the state of Ihram.
حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی قتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حدیبیہ والے سال میرے باپ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ گئے، ان کے ساتھیوں نے احرام باندھا اور انہوں نے احرام نہ باندھا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بتایا گیا کہ دشمن غیقہ نامی جگہ میں گھات میں ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روانہ ہو گئے، ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں اس دوران میں اپنے ساتھیوں کے ساتھ تھا، وہ ایک دوسرے کو دیکھ کر ہنس رہے تھے، ناگہاں میں نے دیکھا تو میری نظر ایک جنگلی گدھے پر پڑی، میں نے اس پر حملہ کر دیا اور اسے نیزہ مار کر، اسے حرکت کرنے سے روک دیا، میں نے ان سے مدد مانگی، انہوں نے میری مدد کرنے سے انکار کر دیا، ہم نے اس کا گوشت کھایا اور ہمیں خطرہ محسوس ہوا، ہمیں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے الگ کر دیا جائے گا تو میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی تلاش میں نکلا، کبھی گھوڑے کو دوڑاتا اور کبھی آہستہ چلتا تو آدھی رات میں بنو غفار کے ایک آدمی کو ملا، میں نے پوچھا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے تیری ملاقات کہاں ہوئی تھی؟ اس نے جواب دیا، میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تَهِن نامی چشمہ پر چھوڑا ہے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سُقيا مقام پر جا کر قیلولہ فرمائیں گے، جس میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو جا ملا اور میں نے عرض کیا اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سلام اور رحمت بھیجتے ہیں اور انہیں خطرہ ہے کہ کہیں دشمن انہیں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے الگ نہ کر ڈالے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کا انتظار فرمائیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کا انتظار فرمایا، میں نے پوچھا، یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! میں نے شکار کیا ہے اور میرے پاس اس کا کچھ بچا ہوا ہے، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں سے کہا: ”اسے کھا لو۔“ حالانکہ وہ سب محرم تھے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah (Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Hudaybiyah wale saal mere baap Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saath gaye, unke sathiyon ne ehram bandha aur unhone ehram na bandha, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko bataya gaya ke dushman Ghaqah nami jagah mein ghaat mein hai, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) rawana ho gaye, Abu Qatadah (Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain is dauran main apne sathiyon ke saath tha, woh ek doosre ko dekh kar hans rahe the, nagahan maine dekha to meri nazar ek jungli gaddhe par padi, maine us par hamla kar diya aur use naizah maar kar, use harkat karne se rok diya, maine unse madad mangi, unhone meri madad karne se inkar kar diya, humne uska gosht khaya aur hamein khatra mehsoos hua, hamein Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se alag kar diya jayega to main Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki talash mein nikla, kabhi ghode ko daurata aur kabhi aahista chalta to aadhi raat mein Banu Ghaffar ke ek aadmi ko mila, maine poocha, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se teri mulaqat kahan hui thi? Usne jawab diya, maine Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko Tahan nami chashmah par chhodha hai aur Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Suqya maqam par ja kar qailoolah farmayenge, jismein Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko ja mila aur maine arz kiya Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sathi Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko salam aur rahmat bhejte hain aur unhein khatra hai ke kahin dushman unhein Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se alag na kar dale, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) unka intezar farmayen, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unka intezar farmaya, maine poocha, Ya Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! وَحَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مِسْمَارٍ السُّلَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ يَحْيَى، بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ انْطَلَقَ أَبِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فَأَحْرَمَ أَصْحَابُهُ وَلَمْ يُحْرِمْ وَحُدِّثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ عَدُوًّا بِغَيْقَةَ فَانْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ - فَبَيْنَمَا أَنَا مَعَ أَصْحَابِهِ يَضْحَكُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ إِذْ نَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِحِمَارِ وَحْشٍ فَحَمَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَطَعَنْتُهُ فَأَثْبَتُّهُ فَاسْتَعَنْتُهُمْ فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يُعِينُونِي فَأَكَلْنَا مِنْ لَحْمِهِ وَخَشِينَا أَنْ نُقْتَطَعَ فَانْطَلَقْتُ أَطْلُبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُرَفِّعُ فَرَسِي شَأْوًا وَأَسِيرُ شَأْوًا فَلَقِيتُ رَجُلاً مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ فَقُلْتُ أَيْنَ لَقِيتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ تَرَكْتُهُ بِتِعْهِنَ وَهُوَ قَائِلٌ السُّقْيَا فَلَحِقْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَصْحَابَكَ يَقْرَءُونَ عَلَيْكَ السَّلاَمَ وَرَحْمَةَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ خَشُوا أَنْ يُقْتَطَعُوا دُونَكَ انْتَظِرْهُمْ . فَانْتَظَرَهُمْ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَصَدْتُ وَمَعِي مِنْهُ فَاضِلَةٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِلْقَوْمِ " كُلُوا " . وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ .
