Chapter: The prohibition of hunting game for the one who has entered Ihram for Hajj or for Umrah or for both

باب تَحْرِيمِ الصَّيْدِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ
Sahih Muslim 1196f
This Hadith is narrated on the authority of Uthman bin Abdullah bin Mauhab with the same chain of transmitters. And in the narration transmitted on the authority of Shaiban (the words are), the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, did any one of you command him to attack it or point towards it?’ And in the narration transmitted by Shu'ba (the words are), ‘did you point out or did you help or did you hunt?’ Shu'ba said, I do not know whether he said, ‘did you help or did you hunt?’
امام صاحب یہی روایت دو اور اساتذہ سے بیان کرتے ہیں، شیبان کی روایت میں ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: ”کیا تم میں سے کسی نے اس کو ان پر حملہ کرنے کا مشورہ دیا تھا یا اس کی طرف اشارہ کیا تھا؟،، شعبہ کی روایت میں ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: ”کیا تم نے اشارہ کیا، یا مدد کی، یا شکار کیا؟ (شکار کا مشورہ دیا) “ شعبہ کہتے ہیں، مجھے پتہ نہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اَعَنتُم (تم نے مدد کی) کہا یا اَصَدتُم، تم نے شکار کیا کہا۔
Imam Sahab yehi riwayat do aur asatizah se bayan karte hain, Shaiban ki riwayat mein hai, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne poocha: "Kya tum mein se kisi ne usko un par hamla karne ka mashwarah diya tha ya uski taraf ishara kiya tha?" Sho'ba ki riwayat mein hai, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne poocha: "Kya tumne ishara kiya, ya madad ki, ya shikar kiya? (Shikar ka mashwarah diya)" Sho'ba kehte hain, mujhe pata nahin, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne "a'antum" (tumne madad ki) kaha ya "asadtum," tumne shikar kiya kaha.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ، بْنُ زَكَرِيَّاءَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ فِي رِوَايَةِ شَيْبَانَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَمِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهَا " . وَفِي رِوَايَةِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ " أَشَرْتُمْ أَوْ أَعَنْتُمْ " . أَوْ " أَصَدْتُمْ " . قَالَ شُعْبَةُ لاَ أَدْرِي قَالَ " أَعَنْتُمْ أَوْ أَصَدْتُمْ " .
