Chapter: The prohibition of hunting game for the one who has entered Ihram for Hajj or for Umrah or for both

باب تَحْرِيمِ الصَّيْدِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ

Abdullah bin Abu Qatada narrated on the authority of his father that they went with the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and they were Muhrim except Abu Qatada (رضي الله تعالى عنه). The rest of the Hadith is the same (but with the exception of these words), ‘the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, is there anything left out of it? They said, they have its leg with them. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) took it and ate it.’
حضرت ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنھم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نکلے اور وہ سب ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے سوا محرم تھے اور وہ غیر محرم تھے اور آگے مذکورہ بالا روایت ہے اور اس میں یہ ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: ”کیا تمہارے پاس اس کا کوئی حصہ ہے؟“ انہوں نے جواب دیا، اس کی ٹانگ ہے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے لے کر کھا لیا۔
Hazrat Abu Qatadah (Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Sahaba Karam (Radiallahu Anhum) Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saath nikle aur woh sab Abu Qatadah (Radiallahu Anhu) ke siwa muharram the aur woh ghair muharram the aur aage mazkoorah bala riwayat hai aur usmein yeh hai, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne poocha: "Kya tumhare paas uska koi hissa hai?" Unhone jawab diya, "Uski taang hai" to Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne use le kar kha liya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ النُّمَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّهُمْ خَرَجُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ وَأَبُو قَتَادَةَ مُحِلٌّ . وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَفِيهِ فَقَالَ " هَلْ مَعَكُمْ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ " . قَالُوا مَعَنَا رِجْلُهُ . قَالَ فَأَخَذَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَكَلَهَا .
