Chapter: The prohibition of hunting game for the one who has entered Ihram for Hajj or for Umrah or for both

باب تَحْرِيمِ الصَّيْدِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ
Sahih Muslim 1196i
Abdullah bin Abu Qatada reported that Abu Qatada (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was among the party of those who had entered upon the state of Ihram whereas he was not. The rest of the Hadith is the same (and herein it is also narrated), the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘did any person among you point to him (to hunt) or command him (in any form)? They said, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), not at all. Thereupon he said, then eat it.’
عبداللہ بن ابی قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ ایک محرم جماعت کے ساتھ تھے اور وہ غیر محرم تھے، پھر مذکورہ بالا روایت بیان کی، اس میں ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: ”کیا تم میں سے کسی انسان نے انہیں اشارہ کیا تھا، یا کسی قسم کا مشورہ دیا تھا؟“ انہوں نے جواب دیا، نہیں، اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تو کھا لو۔“
Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah (Radiallahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Abu Qatadah (Radiallahu Anhu) ek muharram jama'at ke saath the aur woh ghair muharram the, phir mazkoorah bala riwayat bayan ki, usmein hai, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne poocha: "Kya tum mein se kisi insan ne unhein ishara kiya tha, ya kisi qism ka mashwarah diya tha?" Unhone jawab diya, "Nahin, Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)!" Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "To kha lo."
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، وَإِسْحَاقُ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ فِي نَفَرٍ مُحْرِمِينَ وَأَبُو قَتَادَةَ مُحِلٌّ وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ وَفِيهِ قَالَ " هَلْ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ إِنْسَانٌ مِنْكُمْ أَوْ أَمَرَهُ بِشَىْءٍ " . قَالُوا لاَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " فَكُلُوا " .
