Chapter: Marriage is recommended for the one who desires it and can afford it, and the one who cannot afford it should distract himself by fasting

باب اسْتِحْبَابِ النِّكَاحِ لِمَنْ تَاقَتْ نَفْسُهُ إِلَيْهِ وَوَجَدَ مُؤْنَةً وَاشْتِغَالِ مَنْ عَجَزَ عَنِ الْمُؤَنِ بِالصَّوْمِ
Sahih Muslim 1400e
'Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid reported on the authority of Abdullah:We went to him, and I was the youngest of all (of us), but he did not mention:" I lost no time in marrying."
عبدالرحمٰن بن یزید سے روایت ہے کہ ہم حضرت عبداللہ ؓ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے، اور میں سب میں سے نوخیز یا نو عمر تھا، آگے مذکورہ بالا روایت ہے، لیکن یہ نہیں ہے، میں نے تھوڑے ہی عرصہ بعد شادی کر لی۔
Abdur Rahman bin Yazeed (Rehmatullah Alaih) se riwayat hai ki hum Hazrat Abdullah (Radi Allahu Anhu) ki khidmat mein haazir hue, aur main sab mein se nau khez ya nau umar tha, aage mazkoora bala riwayat hai, lekin yeh nahin hai, maine thode hi arse baad shaadi kar li.
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ، عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَحْدَثُ الْقَوْمِ، بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمْ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فَلَمْ أَلْبَثْ حَتَّى تَزَوَّجْتُ .
