Sahih Muslim 1462
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had nine wives. So, when he divided (his stay) with them, the turn of the first wife did not come but on the ninth (day). They (all the wives) used to gather every night in the house of one where he had to come (and stay that night). It was (the night when he had to stay) in the house of Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها), when Ummul Momineen Zainab (رضي الله تعالى عنها) came there. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stretched his hand towards Ummul Momineen Zainab ( رضي الله تعالى عنها), whereupon Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) said, it is Ummul Momineen Zainab (رضي الله تعالى عنها). Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) withdrew his hand. There was an altercation between the two until their voices became loud (and it was at that time) when Iqama was pronounced for prayer. There happened to come Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and he heard their voices and said, Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), (kindly) come for prayer, and throw dust in their mouths. So, the Prophet (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) went out. Ummul Momineen A'isha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) said, when Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) would finish his prayer there would also come Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and he would do as he does (on such occasions, i.e. reprimanding). When Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had finished his prayer, there came to her Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه), and spoke to her in stern words and said, do you behave like this?
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی (وفات کے وقت) نو بیویاں تھیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب ان میں باری تقسیم کرتے تو پہلی باری والی بیوی کے پاس نوویں رات پہنچتے۔ اور وہ سب ہر رات اس بیوی کے ہاں اکٹھی ہو جاتیں، جس کی باری ہوتی تھی، ایک دن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے گھر میں تھے (ان کی باری تھی)، تو حضرت زینب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا آ گئیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کی طرف ہاتھ بڑھایا، تو عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے کہا، یہ زینب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ روک لیا۔ تو دونوں میں تکرار ہو گئی، حتی کہ شور پیدا ہو گیا، اور نماز کی اقامت ہو گئی۔ اس پر حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ وہاں سے گزرے اور انہوں نے دونوں کی آوازیں سن لیں تو عرض کی۔ اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! نماز کے لیے تشریف لائیے، اور ان کے منہ میں مٹی ڈال دیجیے۔ اس پر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز کے لیے تشریف لے گئے۔ تو حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کہنے لگیں (دل میں) ابھی نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز ادا کریں گے تو ابوبکر ان کے ساتھ آ جائیں گے اور مجھے ہی سرزنش و توبیخ کریں گے، جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز ادا کر لی تو عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے پاس ابوبکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ آئے اور انہیں سخت سرزنش کی اور کہا: کیا تم یہ حرکت کرتی ہو؟
Hazrat Anas (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ki (Wafat ke waqt) nau biwiyan thin, aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) jab un mein baari taqseem karte to pehli baari wali biwi ke paas nauween raat pahunchte. Aur woh sab har raat us biwi ke haan akathi ho jaatin, jis ki baari hoti thi, ek din aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) Hazrat Aisha (Razi Allahu Anha) ke ghar mein the (un ki baari thi), to Hazrat Zaynab (Razi Allahu Anha) aa gayin. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne un ki taraf haath badhaya, to Aisha (Razi Allahu Anha) ne kaha, yeh Zaynab (Razi Allahu Anha) hain, aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne apna haath rok liya. To donon mein takraar ho gayi, hatta ke shor paida ho gaya, aur namaz ki iqamat ho gayi. Is par Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) wahan se guzre aur unhon ne donon ki awazein sun lin to arz ki. Ae Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam)! Namaz ke liye tashreef laaiye, aur in ke munh mein mitti daal deejiye. Is par Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) namaz ke liye tashreef le gaye. To Hazrat Aisha (Razi Allahu Anha) kehne lagin (dil mein) abhi Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) namaz ada karenge to Abu Bakr un ke saath aa jayenge aur mujhe hi sarzanish o taubeekh karenge, jab Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne namaz ada kar li to Aisha (Razi Allahu Anha) ke paas Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) aaye aur unhen sakht sarzanish ki aur kaha: Kya tum yeh harkat karti ho?
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تِسْعُ نِسْوَةٍ فَكَانَ إِذَا قَسَمَ بَيْنَهُنَّ لاَ يَنْتَهِي إِلَى الْمَرْأَةِ الأُولَى إِلاَّ فِي تِسْعٍ فَكُنَّ يَجْتَمِعْنَ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ فِي بَيْتِ الَّتِي يَأْتِيهَا فَكَانَ فِي بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ فَجَاءَتْ زَيْنَبُ فَمَدَّ يَدَهُ إِلَيْهَا فَقَالَتْ هَذِهِ زَيْنَبُ . فَكَفَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدَهُ . فَتَقَاوَلَتَا حَتَّى اسْتَخَبَتَا وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَمَرَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَسَمِعَ أَصْوَاتَهُمَا فَقَالَ اخْرُجْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ وَاحْثُ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِنَّ التُّرَابَ . فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ الآنَ يَقْضِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلاَتَهُ فَيَجِيءُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَيَفْعَلُ بِي وَيَفْعَلُ . فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلاَتَهُ أَتَاهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ لَهَا قَوْلاً شَدِيدًا وَقَالَ أَتَصْنَعِينَ هَذَا.
