Chapter: The Obligation to mourn during the 'Iddah following the death of one's husband, but it is forbidden to mourn for more than three days in other cases

باب وُجُوبِ الإِحْدَادِ فِي عِدَّةِ الْوَفَاةِ وَتَحْرِيمِهِ فِي غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ
Sahih Muslim 1488d
Humaid bin Nafi' narrated two traditions from Ummul Momineen Umm Salama ( رضي الله تعالى عنها) dealing with collyrium and the other Hadith from the wives of Allah's Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) except with this that no mention was made of Ummul Momineen Zainab ( رضي الله تعالى عنها).
حمید بن نافع دونوں حدیثیں، ام سلمہ کی سرمہ لگانے والی حدیث اور ام سلمہ اور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی کسی دوسری بیوی کی حدیث سنائی، لیکن زینب کا نام نہیں لیا۔
Humaid bin Nafi' donon hadeesen, Umm Salamah ki surmah lagane wali hadees aur Umm Salamah aur Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ki kisi doosri biwi ki hadees sunai, lekin Zaynab ka naam nahi liya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، بِالْحَدِيثَيْنِ جَمِيعًا حَدِيثِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فِي الْكُحْلِ وَحَدِيثِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَأُخْرَى مِنْ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ تُسَمِّهَا زَيْنَبُ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ .
