Sahih Muslim 1496
Muhammad (one of the narrators) reported that he asked Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) knowing that he had a knowledge of (li'an). He said, Hilal bin Umayya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) accused his wife with the charge of fornication with Sharik bin Sahma, the brother of al-Bara' bin Malik ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) from the side of his mother. And he was the first person who invoked curse (li'an) in Islam. He in fact invoked curse upon her. Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, See to her if she gives birth to a white-complexioned child having dark hair and bright eyes; he must be the son of Hilal bin Umayya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and if she gives birth to a child with dark eyelids, curly hair and lean shanks, he must be the offspring of Sharik bin Sahma. He said, I was informed that she gave birth to a child having dark eyelids, curly hair and lean shanks.
محمد بن سیرین رحمۃ اللہ علیہ بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے دریافت کیا، کیونکہ میں سمجھتا تھا انہیں اس کا علم ہے، انہوں نے بتایا، ہلال بن امیہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنی بیوی پر شریک بن سحماء کے ساتھ غلط کاری کی تہمت لگائی۔ جو براء بن مالک کا اخیافی (ماں کی طرف سے) بھائی تھا۔ یہ پہلے شخص تھے، جنہوں نے اسلام کے دور میں لعان کیا، اس نے بیوی سے لعان کیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اس عورت پر نظر رکھنا، اگر اس نے بچہ، سفید اور کھلے بالوں والا اور خراب آنکھوں والا جنا تو وہ ہلال بن امیہ رضی اللہ عنہ کا ہے، اور اگر بچہ سرمئی آنکھوں والا، گھنگھریالے بالوں والا، باریک پنڈلیوں والا جنا تو وہ شریک بن سحماء کا ہو گا۔“ تو مجھے بتایا گیا کہ اس نے سرمئی آنکھوں والا، گھنگھریالے بالوں والا اور پتلی پنڈلیوں والا بچہ جنا تھا۔
Muhammad bin Sireen (Rahmatullahi Alaih) bayan karte hain, main ne Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Razi Allahu Anhu) se daryaft kiya, kyunki main samajhta tha unhen is ka ilm hai, unhon ne bataya, Hilal bin Umayyah (Razi Allahu Anhu) ne apni biwi par Shareek bin Sahma ke saath ghalat kari ki tohmat lagayi. Jo Bara bin Malik ka akhyafi (maa ki taraf se) bhai tha. Yeh pehle shakhs the, jinhon ne Islam ke daur mein li'aan kiya, us ne biwi se li'aan kiya to Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Is aurat par nazar rakhna, agar is ne bachcha, safed aur khule balon wala aur kharab aankhon wala jana to woh Hilal bin Umayyah (Razi Allahu Anhu) ka hai, aur agar bachcha surmai aankhon wala, ghunghrayle balon wala, bareek pindliyon wala jana to woh Shareek bin Sahma ka hoga." To mujhe bataya gaya ke us ne surmai aankhon wala, ghunghrayle balon wala aur patli pindliyon wala bachcha jana tha.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ وَأَنَا أُرَى، أَنَّ عِنْدَهُ، مِنْهُ عِلْمًا . فَقَالَ إِنَّ هِلاَلَ بْنَ أُمَيَّةَ قَذَفَ امْرَأَتَهُ بِشَرِيكِ ابْنِ سَحْمَاءَ وَكَانَ أَخَا الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ لأُمِّهِ وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ رَجُلٍ لاَعَنَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ - قَالَ - فَلاَعَنَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَبْصِرُوهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَتْ بِهِ أَبْيَضَ سَبِطًا قَضِيءَ الْعَيْنَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِهِلاَلِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ وَإِنْ جَاءَتْ بِهِ أَكْحَلَ جَعْدًا حَمْشَ السَّاقَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِشَرِيكِ ابْنِ سَحْمَاءَ " . قَالَ فَأُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ بِهِ أَكْحَلَ جَعْدًا حَمْشَ السَّاقَيْنِ .
