Chapter: Giving to one whose faith one fears

باب إِعْطَاءِ مَنْ يُخَافُ عَلَى إِيمَانِهِ
Sahih Muslim 150g
This Hadith has also been narrated on the authority of Muhammad bin Sa'd through another chain of transmitters (and the words are), ‘the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) struck between my neck and shoulder with his hand and said, do you wrangle, O Sa'd (رضي الله تعالى عنه), because I bestow (some gifts) upon a person?’
امام صاحب اپنے ایک اور استاد سے محمد بن سعد کی یہ روایت بیان کرتے ہیں اس میں ہے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ میری گردن اور کندھے کے درمیان مارا پھر فرمایا: (اے سعد! کیا لڑائی چاہتے ہو؟ میں ایک ایسے آدمی کو دیتا ہوں۔)
Imam sahab apne ek aur ustad se Muhammad bin Saad ki yeh riwayat bayan karte hain is mein hai toh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apna hath meri gardan aur kandhe ke darmiyan mara phir farmaya: (Ae Saad! kya larayi chahtay ho? main ek aise aadmi ko deta hoon.)
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ، يُحَدِّثُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ - يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ الزُّهْرِيِّ الَّذِي ذَكَرْنَا - فَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ فَضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ بَيْنَ عُنُقِي وَكَتِفِي ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَقِتَالاً أَىْ سَعْدُ إِنِّي لأُعْطِي الرَّجُلَ " .
