Chapter: The prohibition of swearing by something other than Allah

باب النَّهْىِ عَنِ الْحَلِفِ بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى
Sahih Muslim 1646c
Saalim reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) heard Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) while he was taking oath by his father. The rest of the Hadith is the same.
حضرت سالم اپنے باپ (عبداللہ بن عمر) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عمر کو اپنے باپ کی قسم اٹھاتے ہوئے سنا، آگے یونس اور معمر کی طرح مذکورہ بالا روایت بیان کی۔
Hazrat Saalim apne baap (Abdullah Bin Umar) se riwayat karte hain ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne Umar ko apne baap ki qasam uthate hue suna, aage Younus aur Mamar ki tarah mazkoora bala riwayat bayan ki.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عُمَرَ وَهُوَ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ . بِمِثْلِ رِوَايَةِ يُونُسَ وَمَعْمَرٍ .
