Chapter: The Battle of Hunain

باب فِي غَزْوَةِ حُنَيْنٍ

Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I was with Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) on the Day of Hunain. The rest of the Hadith is the same but with this variation that the Hadith transmitted by Yunus and Ma'mar is more detailed and complete.
یہی روایت امام صاحب اپنے ایک اور استاد سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ عباس رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ کہتے ہیں، میں حنین کے دن نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھا، آگے مذکورہ بالا حدیث ہے، لیکن یونس اور معمر کی مذکورہ بالا روایت اس سے زیادہ طویل اور مکمل ہے۔
Yahi riwayat Imam Sahab apne ek aur ustad se bayan karte hain ke Abbas (Razi Allahu Anhu) kehte hain, main Hunain ke din Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saath tha, aage mazkoora bala hadith hai, lekin Younus aur Mu'ammar ki mazkoora bala riwayat isse zyada taweel aur mukammal hai.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي كَثِيرُ، بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ . وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ . غَيْرَ أَنَّ حَدِيثَ يُونُسَ وَحَدِيثَ مَعْمَرٍ أَكْثَرُ مِنْهُ وَأَتَمُّ .
