Chapter: Removal of Idols from around the Ka'bah

باب إِزَالَةِ الأَصْنَامِ مِنْ حَوْلِ الْكَعْبَةِ
Sahih Muslim 1781b
Ibn Abu Najah narrated this tradition through a different chain of transmitters up to the word, Zahaqa. (This version) does not contain the second verse and substitutes Sanam for Nusub (both the words mean ‘idol’ or ‘image’ that is worshipped).
امام صاحب مذکورہ بالا روایت اپنے دو اساتذہ سے، ابو نجیح ہی کی سند سے، سورہ اسراء کی آیت تک بیان کرتے ہیں اور سورہ سباء کی آیت بیان نہیں کرتے اور نُصُبا
Imam Sahab mazkoora bala riwayat apne do asatiza se, Abu Nujaih hi ki sanad se, Surah Israa ki ayat tak bayan karte hain aur Surah Sabaa ki ayat bayan nahi karte aur nusuba.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ حَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ زَهُوقًا . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الآيَةَ الأُخْرَى وَقَالَ بَدَلَ نُصُبًا صَنَمًا .
